    What is the difference between the State PSC and UPSC exams?

    The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the civil services examination (CSE), which is a yearly event conducted on a pan-India level. The state PSC exams, as on the other hand, are conducted for state-level recruitment exams. Candidates with the domicile of the respective state can apply for the state PSC exams.

    The exam pattern of UPSC, as well as the state PSC, is generally the same; the major chunk of the syllabus of UPSC, as well as the state PSC, covers general study subjects.
