About SSC CGL 2023
SSC CGL 2023-24 - The Staff Selection Commission will issue the SSC CGL admit card 2023 soon on the official website. SSC closed the SSC CGL 2023 application form correction window on May 11 at ssc.nic.in. The SSC CGL application form correction window 2023 was activated on May 10, 2023. The commission closed the SSC CGL application form 2023 on May 3 in online mode at ssc.nic.in.

The commission released the SSC CGL notification 2023 on April 3. Along with the notification, the SSC CGL application form 2023 has also been released by the commission. SSC will activate the SSC CGL application form 2023 correction link from May 7 to 8, 2023. Earlier, the Commission announced the SSC CGL exam dates 2023 for tier 1 on March 29 on the official website. According to the SSC CGL tier 1 exam dates 2023, the exam will be held from July 14 to 27, 2023.
Candidates will be able to use this SSC CGL 2023 application for correction facility if any mistake enters in the application form. The Commission will issue the SSC CGL admit card 2023 for the tier 1 exam to all the regions online on the respective official websites.
The Commission conducted the SSC CGL exam in two tiers - tier 1 and tier 2. The shortlisted candidates of tier 1 exam will be eligible for the tier 2 stage of SSC CGL 2023 exam. Shortlisted candidates must go through the SSC CGL syllabus of tier 2 and previous years' question papers of SSC CGL exam for better preparation. The SSC CGL 2023 exam is conducted for or Group B and Group C posts in various ministries/departments/organisations of the Government of India.
What is the SSC CGL exam?
The SSC CGL examination is conducted on the national level by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit the candidates for Group B and Group C posts. The shortlisted candidates will be recruited to the various departments of government of India such as Indian Audit and Accounts Department under CAG, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Railway, Ministry of External Affairs, Central Bureau of Investigation, Central Bureau of Narcotics, National Investigation Agency (NIA), etc.
To qualify the SSC CGL exam, candidates need to appear in four tiers SSC CGL 2023 recruitment process. The stages of SSC CGL 2023 exam are - two computer based tests, one descriptive test in offline mode and one skill test followed by a document verification round. Graduates between the age limit of 18 years to 32 years can apply for the post of SSC CGL 2023. The SSC CGL exam has been conducted for various CGL posts. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) provides the post-wise eligibility details for SSC CGL exam 2023. The eligibility criteria include details like nationality, age limit, educational qualification etc. Candidates must check the detailed eligibility criteria before applying for SSC CGL 2023 exam.
Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India or subject of Nepal/ Bhutan, Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1963 with the intention of permanently settling in India, person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit: To apply for SSC CGL 2023 exam, candidates must be in between 18 and 32 years of age However, age requirements will differ as per posts and the candidate's caste category for SSC CGL.

Candidates applying for Junior Statistical Officer must have any of the required educational qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
Candidates must be physically fit as per the Physical Standards if they are applying for the post of Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation), and Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency).

The SSC CGL 2023 correction window is available from May 10 to 11, 2023 (Revised). SSC CGL application form 2023 is closed on May 3, 2023. The exam authorities released the SSC CGL 2023 application form online on April 3 on the official website - ssc.nic.in. The application process of the SSC CGL 2023 exam can not be completed without paying the SSC CGL 2023 exam fees.
Candidates need to enter their personal details, academic details, and contact details along with the scanned photograph and signature to complete the application process of SSC CGL 2023. SSC CGL 2023 application fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs. 100 while women, SC, ST, PWD category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. Candidates were able to pay the fee both online and offline.

Applicants applying for the SSC CGL exam need to follow the steps mentioned below for the registration and application process for reference purpose only:
Part 1 - SSC CGL 2023: One Time Registration 2023- Fill in all required basic, additional & contact details including name, parent’s name, E-mail, Aadhaar, date of birth, gender, class 10 Board roll number and year of passing, etc. After successful registration, the registration ID and password will be generated for the SSC CGL exam.
Part 2 –
Upload photograph and signature: Login to the SSC CGL exam portal by using the registration ID and password. Candidates need to upload the photo and signature in the specified format.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce the exam pattern of SSC CGL along with the release of the official brochure. The exam pattern mentions a number of sections, marking scheme, weightage of topics, mode and duration of exam, and a number of questions. Marking Scheme of Tier I
The examination authority has only mentioned the negative marks in the notification of SSC CGL which is 0.5 marks. However, based on the number of questions and total marks, it can be surmised that for correct answers candidates will score 2 marks. Candidates will not get any marks for unattempted questions. If candidates select more than one correct answer then it will be considered as incorrect and marks will be deducted for such questions.
SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Tier-II exam is held in online mode and comprises three papers – Paper 1, 2, and 3. According to the SSC CGL exam pattern, Paper 1 consists of three sections, and each section has two modules.
- Tier-II will include conducting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III in separate shifts, days.
- Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
- Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
- Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
- Section-III of Paper-I i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature.
- Tier-II (Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III) will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Language And Comprehension module in Section-II of Paper-I.
- There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I and of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.

The Staff Selection Commission will issue the SSC CGL tier 1 admit card 2023 to all the regions on the respective regional websites. The admit card for the SSC CGL 2023 contains the name of the candidate, roll number, photograph, signature, date, time, venue of the examination, and exam day guidelines.

The cutoff of SSC CGL is released by SSC along with the declaration of the result of each stage. Candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks as well as overall marks to be eligible for each stage of the selection process.
SSC CGL Cutoff - Tier I
The cutoff of SSC CGL Tier I will be released along with the result. The cutoff of Tier I will be prepared based on the performance of candidates. On the basis of the Tier I SSC CGL cutoff, candidates will be shortlisted for Tier II exam. Candidates must secure equal to or more than the cutoff of SSC CGL Tier I to be selected for Tier II. Hi,
SSC-CGL requires bachelor degree from any recognised Institute. It doesn't ask for specific branch. So if you are doing Graduation in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognised Institute then you are eligible to apply for SSC -CGL. Same goes for other government exams like UPSC-Civil Services, UPSC-CAPF ,etc.

It is expected that NRA will conduct NRA CET from September of this year, and it's expected that NRA CET will be conducted twice a year, and the score will remain valid for three years, only the preliminary exams of SSC/RRB/IBPS will be conducted through NRA CET and the advanced stages is to be conducted by respective organizations accordingly. You need to wait out for the official notification to know the exact details regarding the same.
