The exam syllabus will mention the complete topics from which questions will be asked in the UP TET exam. The syllabus for the exam also includes the UPTET Math syllabus as well as the syllabus for other subjects.

The UPTET 2024 exam will be held in two shifts with Paper 1 - 10 AM to 12:30 PM (Morning) for the primary teachers while Paper 2 - 2:30 PM to 5 PM (Evening) for the upper primary teachers. To know more about the UPTET 2024 exam syllabus, read the below article.

UPTET Syllabus 2024 - Papers 1 & Paper 2

UPTET 2024 syllabus is different for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The syllabus of UPTET 2024 Paper 1 is for aspiring teachers who want to work in primary schools (Class 1 to 5) and the Paper 2 is for upper primary teaching aspirants (Class 6 to 8). Candidates can refer to the UPTET syllabus 2024 who wish to apply for both primary and upper primary teaching posts.

UPTET Syllabus 2024 - Paper 1

Candidates have to study 5 subjects (sections) as given in the UPTET syllabus. These sections are Child Development, Language-I (Hindi), Language-II (English, Urdu & Sanskrit), Mathematics, and EVS. Candidates have to choose one subject out of three from Language-I sectionI. The previous year's UPTET syllabus for Paper 1 for all 5 subjects is given in detail in the table below.

There are 4 sections in UPTET 2024 Paper 2 for the aspirants of upper primary teaching posts (class VI to VIII). Section 4 has two parts, A and B. Part-A contains two subjects, Mathematics and Science whereas Part-B has Social studies/social science. There are 3 main sub-parts of Part-B like History, Geography, Social & Political life as shared in the UPTET syllabus 2024. The subjects/sections of Paper 2 are given in the table.

Hi,

Candidates applying for the Super TET 2022 must have graduated and got at least 50% marks in all their studies . Candidates must have obtained a bachelor's degree in primary/ elementary education (B. Ed) or hold a degree in this field.

If you have completed your B. Ed. Degree and  qualified  both Uptet and ctet of paper 2, you are therefore, eligible for super tet examination also.

But to be on a safer side, you can also go for paper 1 as it would increase your chances for a secured government job if the vacancies are up for any programme.

UPTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks from recognized university & 2 years Diploma (D.Ed) from N.C.T.E/ Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). ...
  • Bachelor's degree & 2 years B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) OR.

Hope you are doing great! After graduation if you have done deled also from nios board then you are eligible to fill the form of uptet,ctet and also other teaching eligibility exam after qualify such exam then you can fill the form of main teacher vacancies.But if you are doing the deled not complete then you will not eligible for eligibility criteria you have to complete 12 and then any two year diploma course.

Yes if you did the DElEd course for 2 years in any board or in open school board i.e. NIOS you are eligible for UPTET.

The basic eligibility criteria for UPTET is,

You should clear graduation in any discipline from a University Grants Commission (UGC) recognised university or college. However, after the completion of graduation, pursuing a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) is mandatory. Candidates in the final year of DElEd are also eligible to apply.
