As per the SSC Stenographer eligibility criteria 2020, candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. Applicants holding diploma/degree through distance learning are also eligible to apply provided they have been approved by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission.
SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Nationality
To be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2020, the candidate must be either
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
