IBPS Clerk is an entry level examination which recruits candidates for clerical cadre posts for 19 public sector banks including Bank of Baroda, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, etc. IBPS Clerk is a two tier examination conducted in two phases, i.e. Preliminary and Mains. This year IBPS has released around 7800 vacancies for the post of IBPS clerk. To fill the application form of IBPS clerk 2017, an online application fee of INR 100/- and INR 600/- has to be made by SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates and all other candidates respectively. IBPS Clerk 2017 Application Form – Registration pre-requirements

 

Before candidates begin with filling application form of IBPS Clerk 2017, they must keep following details and documents ready:

  • Scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature (check below for required specifications).

  • A valid email Id (if you don’t have one, you are required to create an email-id for filling IBPS Clerk 2017 application form.).

  • Educational qualifications details of graduation and higher degree (if any).

  • Bank details for making online payment for submitting application form of IBPS Clerk 2017.

Take care of following things while accumulating pre-requisite documents for IBPS Clerk application form 2017:

  • The photograph must be a recent passport size, coloured picture.

How to fill IBPS Clerk Application Form 2017– Step-by-Step guide

 

Candidates can fill the application form of IBPS Clerk 2017 through five step process stated below:

  • STEP 1- Registration for IBPS Clerk 2017

  • STEP 2- Upload photograph and signature

  • STEP 3- Fill application form

  • STEP 4- Preview filled application form of IBPS Clerk 2017

  • STEP 5- Make payment of IBPS Clerk 2017 application fee

STEP 1- Registration for IBPS Clerk 2017

 

To begin with, candidates will need to register themselves for IBPS Clerk exam. To register:

  • Click on the link given above, to fill the application form of IBPS Clerk 2017.

  • On the new webpage that appears, click on ‘CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION’ to register yourself for IBPS Clerk 2017 exam.

  • Now fill the basic details like your name, contact details, email-id, etc. and click on ‘Save and Next’ to register. 

Once you do this, a provisional registration number and password will be generated and will be sent to your registered email-id and mobile number (entered at the time of registration). You must keep this information safe.

 

Candidates must note that it is not necessary to fill the IBPS Clerk 2017 application form at one go. They may wait, reopen the website later on and login with their provisional registration number and password whenever they are ready to fill the application form of IBPS Clerk 2017.

 

STEP 2- Upload Photograph and Signature

 

Now, in next step, candidates need to upload scanned images of photograph and signature as per the specifications stated in ‘IBPS Clerk Application Form 2017– Registration Pre-requisite documents’ section given above.

 

STEP 3- Fill Application form of IBPS Clerk 2017

 

At this stage, candidates will need to enter other details such as educational qualifications, marks obtained, nationality, state/UT they wish to apply for, their choice of participating organisation, bank preference (via which they want to make the payment), etc.

 

At every stage, the IBPS Clerk application form 2017 gives ‘Save and Next' facility to save the details entered therein. Candidates must use it to keep saving the details, for just in case they aren’t able to submit the IBPS Clerk 2017 application form, they can always come back and continue from where they left.  

 

STEP 4- Preview the application form of IBPS Clerk 2017

 

At step four, candidates will be able to preview the details they have filled until now and will be able to modify the application form of IBPS Clerk 2017 before they make the final submission.

 

Now, preview the form and after you verify the details, click on ‘Final Submit’. You should remember that no changes or modifications will be allowed after you click on ‘Final Submit’ button. So, check all the details very carefully. 

 

Kindly note that visually impaired applicants will be responsible for themselves for carefully filling and verifying the details entered in IBPS Clerk 2017 application form.

 

STEP 5- Make payment of IBPS Clerk 2017 application fee

 

At this final fifth stage, candidates will need to make the payment of IBPS Clerk application fee 2017.

 

The application fee payment of INR 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates and INR 600/- for General and all other candidates should be made through online mode only, i.e. via Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/Master Card/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS or Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.

 

After successful payment of the application fee, the e-receipt will be generated. Applicants must take a printout of both the e-receipt and the application form. If the e-receipt hasn’t been generated when paying application fee of IBPS Clerk 2017, then in all probabilities, it would mean that online transaction isn’t successful. Candidates are advised to login again and check their application status.

 

IBPS Clerk Application Form 2017– Important Instructions

  • Candidates are advised to maintain their email account and the mobile number provided in the application form of IBPS Clerk 2017 since all the intimations and coordination will be done via email and/or SMS only.

  • Before candidates fill the IBPS Clerk 2017 application form, they must make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of IBPS Clerk 2017 (including age requirements and educational qualifications).

  • Candidates must take utmost care while filling online application form of IBPS Clerk 2017 since no change or modifications will be allowed in the information and it will be considered as final, once applicant finally submits the application form.

  • IBPS Clerk 2017 application will be considered as valid only after candidate press ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ at the end of the application process and remit the requisite IBPS Clerk application fee.

  • DO NOT press back/refresh button, while submitting the payment. Let the server process the information and wait for it to intimate you about the successful remittance of payment.

  • To ensure the security of data entered in IBPS Clerk application form 2017, candidates are advised to close the browser window as and when they are done with the transaction.

  • Credit Card users must note that in case you have a non-Indian credit card, your bank will automatically convert to Indian currency based on prevailing exchange rates.

  • Applicants must take the printout of e-receipt generated after the transaction and the IBPS Clerk 2017 application form after submitting it.They must keep these printouts safe and should NOT send it to any of the participating organisations.

  • In case you are unable to fill the application in one go, take your time and save the data entered. You can login again with your provisional registration number and password (sent on your email-id and mobile), for completing the application form of IBPS Clerk 2017.

  • It must be noted that an incomplete application, in any respect, like without a proper photograph, etc., will not be considered as valid by IBPS.

  • Candidates are advised to apply to states whose regional language they are proficient in since IBPS might conduct a language test round after IBPS Clerk Mains exam.

  • It should be noted that, generally, candidates will be allotted a centre of examination in the State/UT in which he/she has chosen to apply for.

  • Finally and most importantly, candidates are advised that they fill and submit the application form of IBPS Clerk 2017, much before registration closes, i.e. on October 3, 2017. It is so because, in the end, they may experience last minute IT troubles like website jam, loading issues, etc.
