Staff Selection Commission prescribes the SSC GD Constable syllabus 2025 in the official notification. Candidates preparing for the exam must go through the detailed SSC GD Constable syllabus 2025 pdf to know about the stages, sections and subjects. There will be four sections in the computer-based test of SSC GD 2025 - General Knowledge & General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi.

SSC GD Constable Syllabus 2025 (CBT)

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning - Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

  • General Knowledge & General Awareness - Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially about sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

  • Elementary Mathematics - This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and the relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc

  • English/Hindi - Candidates’ ability to understand basic English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension would be tested.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who qualify in the first stage of the SSC GD Constable are eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test. The PET SSC GD Constable consists of a race that male and female candidates need to complete in a given time. From the following points, candidates can check the PET along with knowing the SSC GD Constable 2025.

  • For Male candidates: Race 5 Kms in 24 minutes

  • For Female candidates: 1.6 Kms in 8 ½ minutes

The candidates of the Ladakh Region need to follow the below criteria for the Race test.

  • Male: Race 1 Mile in 6 ½ minutes

  • Female: 800 metres in 4 minutes

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Apart from the syllabus of SSC GD Constable 2025, candidates must also know about the physical standard requirements. Ex-Servicemen candidates shortlisted in the CBE need to appear in the PST stage for recording measurement of chest, height and weight only. The ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from appearing in the PET. However, they will have to qualify for a Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Hope you are doing great ! Yes no problem if you are a sc Candidate of 168 cm with ncc certificate then you can qualify for pst but some problem can be occur because 170 cm height is required so you must do something for that too .

Sorry to say you but you have not mentioned about which examination you are talking about. There can be lots of examination centres for different different kinds of examinations not only in Shimoga, but also for each and every city and town. But if you are talking about CA entrance then as per my knowledge the examination centre can be Acharya Tulsi National College of commerce. However you also can find your examination centre name in in your specified admit card. Hope this will help you . You also can comment down below about which examination you are talking about.
