CDS Syllabus 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the detailed CDS 2020 syllabus of the exam along with the official notification on October 30, 2019. CDS syllabus 2020 provides details regarding the topics and sub-topics under different sections of General Knowledge, Mathematics and English. It is to be noted the objective question type of CDS papers will be based on the syllabus of CDS 2020. For systematic planning of CDS preparation, aspirants must have a clear understanding of the CDS exam pattern and CDS syllabus 2020. CDS exam abides by two stages of selection – Written Exam and SSB Interview.UPSC will conduct the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam on February 2, 2020 in the offline mode. All the questions asked in the exam will be of MCQ type. CDS exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Indian Naval Academy (INA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA).If candidates are seeking admission in OTA then they are not required to study Mathematics, rather knowledge of General Knowledge and English is required only while candidates who are seeking get themselves inducted for IMA/INA/AFA are required to cover all the three subjects mentioned above.
Candidates who want to qualify the exam with flying colors must know the exam pattern of CDS along with syllabus as both these are complementary to each other. Aspirants who are equipped with exam pattern and syllabus can qualify the exam

The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing the paper of CDS exam 2020 as per the rules of UPSC are that-
1. The person should have age ranging from 19 to 24 years
2. The person must be a citizen of India
3. The person must have completed his graduation.
So, the percentage of 12th doesn't matters. The only thing is that you should satisfy the above minimum requirements.

yes, b.com students can apply for combined defence service. the eligibility for cds ota-Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.In market you found many books of cds preparation but in my opening you can prefer cds pathfinder of arihant .but before going to book you must know about the pattern of the exam by seeing the previous year papers.

but remember after qualifying exam you have to face the ssb interview which includes physical fitness test as well as Personality cum Psychometric tests and Intelligence interview.
CDS (Combined defense service) has need graduation. It is not depend on 12th marks.
There are educational eligibility for CDS (Combined defense service)as:-
•Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers’ Training Academy - A candidate should be degree from any recognised board.
•Indian Naval Academy (INA): A candidate should have Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
•Air Force Academy: A candidate should have Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

There are educational eligibility for AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) exam as:-
•A candidate should be passed 12th or equivalent exam in maths and physics with 60% Score. (Flying branch and ground duty(technical).
•A candidate should have minimum bachelor degree from any recognised college/educational board.
