UPTET Result 2020 is released by Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari, Uttar Pradesh in online mode on February 7 at updeled.gov.in. As per the result of UPTET 2020, a total of 29.74 per cent candidates have cleared the exam in primary level while 11.46 per cent candidates have cleared the upper primary level and the total pass percentage is 23.41 per cent. UPTET 2020 result is out for both paper 1 and 2. To check the result of UPTET 2020, candidates must login by using their roll number and password. UPTET result 2020 contains the name, roll number, total marks secured in each subject, overall marks and qualifying status of the candidates. Only those candidates are considered UPTET qualified who secured marks equal to or more than the minimum cut off marks. As per UPTET 2020 result, the minimum cutoff will be in the form of qualifying marks which is 60% for the general category and 55% for candidates belonging to the reserved category. UPTEt 2019 exam was conducted on January 8, 2020 in offline mode at various centres in 25 cities of Uttar Pradesh. The exam was conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in classes 1 to 9. The exam was conducted for two papers - paper I (for classes 1 to 5) and paper II (for classes 6 to 9). All those candidates who will be shortlisted as per UPTET 2020 result will be issued an eligibility certificate which will be valid for 5 years from the date of result declaration.

UPTET Result 2020 - Qualifying Marks

To be considered qualified in the result of UPTET, candidate must secure the minimum qualifying marks. The minimum qualifying marks of UPTET has been determined by the exam conducting authorities and have been mentioned in the notification PDF. As per the notification, general category candidate will have to secure at least 60% marks to be considered qualified while the reserved category must secure 55% mark. Since the exam of UPTET is conducted for a total of 150 marks, candidates belonging to general and reserved category will have to secure as many as 90 and 82.5 out of 150 respectively.

How to Retrieve Registration Number or Password to Check UPTET Result

In case the candidates has forgotten the login credentials to check the result of UPTET, then they must follow the steps mentioned below to retrieve the login credentials:

  • Visit the official website of UPTET.

  • Click on the UPTET exam link.

  • Select UPTET result option

  • Click on forgot application/registration number

  • Enter name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID

  • Click on Submit.

  • The authority will send the registration number and password on candidate registered email ID.

What after the declaration of UPTET Result 2020?

As per UPTET 2020 result, candidates qualifying in the exam will be issued an eligibility certificate. The qualified candidates will have to collect their respective UPTET eligibility certificate from the regional District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) centres. Candidates will have to present certain documents in order to collect the eligibility certificate of UPTET 2020.

Documents to present while collecting UPTET 2020 eligibility certificate

The following documents must be presented at the centres to collect the eligibility certificate:

  • One copy of application form/admit card/result

  • All the original documents i.e (Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, passport, and Voter ID card)

  • Caste Certificate

  • Special Reservation Certificate
    Candidates have to submit the above-mentioned documents to the DIET centre, head of the respective district centres will examine and ensure the validity of all the documents and after that UPTET 2019 eligibility certificate will be provided to the respective candidates.

Important: UPTET passing certificate for qualified candidates will only be distributed through regional District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) centres.

In case of losing or damaging the certificate due to any reason or error in Father's name or Mother's name in UPTET eligibility certificate, candidates can get the second copy by presenting the following documents to 'Sachiv Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari Uttar Pradesh

  • Demand Draft (issued by any Nationalized Bank) of Rs. 500

  • Attested application for getting the second copy of UPTET eligibility certificate

  • High school certificate for birth details

  • Affidavit of Rs. 10

  • Photo ID proof

UPTET 2020 Result Applicability

All those candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to become teachers in the following Primary and Upper Primary Schools falling under the following features:

  • Central Government-run schools

  • Local school aided by State Government

  • Central Government aided schools

  • Any prestigious school affiliated to the National Education board who possesses No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the State Government.

UPTET Cutoff 2020

To minimum marks required to qualify the exam is called the cut off marks. UPTET cut off will be in the form of the minimum qualifying marks. The qualifying cut off will be the same as the minimum qualifying mark on the basis of which UPTET 2020 result will be announced. Super TET Exam is the 2nd level of Exam after qualifying State level TET/ CTET exam. In this paper there are 2 papers: Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for class 1 to class 5 and Paper 2 is meant for teachers opting for class 6 to class 8.Aspirants who successfully clear their UPTET or CTET exam can apply for the Super TET exam. The exam is mandatory for teaching jobs in Government as well as Private class 1 to class 8. The exam is conducted in order to fulfill and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.
