About CDS 2022
UPSC CDS 2022 - Union Public Service Commission issued the UPSC CDS 2 admit card in online mode on August 10 on the official website at upsc.gov.in. The Commission has closed the UPSC CDS 2 application form withdrawal window on June 20. The UPSC CDS 2 application form withdrawal link has been activated on June 14 on the official website.
Latest: The final UPSC CDS 2 2021 result has been declared online on June 3 on the official website.
Previously, the UPSC released the official CDS 1 question papers 2022 online on April 12, 2022 on the official website. CDS 01/2022 written exam has been conducted by UPSS on April 10, 2022. The CDS 1 application form 2022 has been closed on January 11, 2022. CDS 1 2022 exam is conducted for candidates who wish to pursue their career as commissioned officers in the Navy, Air Force and Army after graduation or candidates appearing in their final year.
CDS exam 2022 is conducted twice a year. Candidates who are between 20 to 24 years and fulfill other CDS 2022 eligibility criteria are eligible for CDS. There are two stages in CDS exam 2022 written exam followed by the SSB interview. Candidates who qualify written CDS exam 2022 are eligible for Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview which includes Personality cum Psychometric tests and Intelligence interviews.
Candidates who clear the CDS 2022 selection process will have to undergo training programmes as per their merit and preference for Army, Navy and Air Force jobs. The training of selected candidates will be done at Indian Military Academy (IMA Dehradun), Indian Naval Academy (INA Ezhimala), Air Force Academy (Hyderabad), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA Chennai). This training course will begin in January 2022.

Candidates applying for CDS exam 2022 must be
- an Indian citizen, or
- a Tibetan refugee (before January 1962), or

UPSC has deactivated the CDS 2 2022 application form link on June 20. Earlier, UPSC has begun the CDS 2 application form 2022 withdrawal facility on June 14. Candidates who wish to withdraw the CDS 2 2022 application form can use this facility till June 20 in online mode. Earlier, UPSC has released the link to fill the CDS 2 2022 application form on May 18 on the official website. The last date to submit the CDS 2 2022 application form is June 7, 2022. Candidates need to check the eligibility criteria carefully before doing the CDS 2 registration 2022. Candidates can withdraw the UPSC CDS 2 application form from June 14 to 20, 2022 up to 6 PM.

Part 1 Registration

- Before filling up the CDS application form candidates must read the important instructions.
- Enter details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, community, address, etc. and click on the submit button to register.
Part 2 Registration
- Enter the registration ID, password and captcha code to log in to part 2 registration.
- Select the payment method online or offline.
- Upload the scanned signature and photograph.
- Selection of exam centers.
- Read and agree to the 'Declaration' to submit the application form.

To score well in the written exam of CDS, candidates must know the preparation tips and strategies. Candidates must know the importance of solving the previous years’ question papers, timely revision, time management, etc. which are the key elements of preparation.
UPSC prescribes the CDS exam pattern. There are two stages in CDS exam 2022- written and SSB interviews. The written CDS exam 2022 will be conducted in pen and paper mode. As per the CDS exam pattern, candidates who apply for Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Indian Military Academy courses have to appear for three subjects - English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics while candidates who have opted for Officers' Training Academy have to appear for two subjects – English and General Knowledge.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the admit card for the CDS 2 exam 2022 in online mode on August 10 2022. Candidates can download the CDS 2 exam admit card till the date of examination i.e.., September 4, 2022.

UPSC will release the official answer key of CDS written exam after all the stages of the exam have been conducted. CDS answer key will be available subject wise for all test booklets. Candidates can check the number of correct and incorrect answers marked by them with the help of answer key. There are some coaching institutes who release the unofficial answer key after the completion of the CDS exam 2022 on the same day.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of Combined Defence Services 1 (CDS) 2022 in PDF format on the official website. The CDS 1 2022 result for the CDS written exam and final CDS result will be declared separately. Candidates have to secure qualifying marks as prescribed by UPSC to qualify the written exam. Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be eligible to appear for an SSB interview. The final result of CDS is calculated by adding the marks secured by candidates in written as well as SSB Interview.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the cut off of CDS exam 2022 separately for the written exam and final. Candidates who score equal or more than cutoff released by UPSC for written exam are eligible SSB Interview. The CDS cut off marks of written test for is calculated out of the total score of 300 for INA, IFA and IMA, and 200 for OTA (Men & Women). The final cut off will be released in by UPSC later.
The selection process of CDS exam 2022 is of two stages - written exam and SSB interview. In the first stage - CDS written exam, candidates are required to appear in three papers for admission in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and two papers for admission in Officers’ Training Academy.

Yes of course you can apply for UPSC CDS exam being an arts graduate with any graduation degree you are eligible for cds and upsc exam but there some posts and departments that need only specialized stream graduate like in cds Navy only B.Tech graduates are eligible etc.

Since your query is regarding the age limit and your eligibility for the same, we need to look at the Age Criteria mentioned in the official criteria, that is -
Age Limit for Indian Military Academy\ Indian Navy Army\Officers’ Training Academy is - Male applicants must be unmarried and have a birthdate between January 1, 2004, and January 1, 1999, respectively.
Since your date of birth is 1/10/1998, you are unfortunately not eligible to appear for the CDS (OTA) 1 to be held in 2023 according to the guidelines.
