About IBPS PO 2023
IBPS PO 2023 - The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will release the IBPS PO notification 2023 soon on the official website - ibps.in. Along with the notification, the IBPS PO application form 2023 will also be released in online mode on the official website. The exam authorities is scheduled to conduct the IBPS PO exam 2023 for prelims on September 23, 30 and October 1, 2023 and IBPS PO mains exam is scheduled to be held on November 5, 2023.

IBPS conducts the IBPS PO exam to recruit candidates for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees in participating banks. IBPS PO is conducted in three phases - prelims, mains and interviews. Only candidates who are graduates between 20 to 30 years of age of the recruitment year are eligible to apply for IBPS PO/MT. On the basis of the marks secured in the preliminary exam, candidates will be selected for the main examination.
The authority will also use the equi-percentile method to normalize the marks secured by candidates in different sessions of the exam. Candidates shortlisted in the IBPS PO mains exam will be called for an interview organized by participating banks and Nodal banks in the State/UTs. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured in mains and interview.

The eligibility criteria of IBPS PO will be prescribed by the conducting authority, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. All the candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility requirement before applying for the IBPS PO.
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2023 - Nationality: Candidates belonging to Indian nationals or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came in India before January 1, 1964 to settle permanently in India or Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Zambia, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia Uganda, and Vietnam to permanently in India.
IBPS PO 2023 Eligibility Criteria - Age Limit: To apply for IBPS PO, candidates must be minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years of the recruitment year.
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2023 - Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Other Backward Classes/ PwD candidates/Ex-servicemen/ domiciled candidates in Jammu & Kashmir from January 1, 1980 to December 31, 1989/persons who were affected during 1984 riots will be given age relaxation as per their category. - SC/ST – 5 years
- Other backward classes – 5 years
- PWD categories – 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen – 10 years
- Domiciled candidates in Jammu & Kashmir during January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989 – 5 years

The IBPS PO mains exam is conducted in two phases, online exam followed by a descriptive test which has 2 questions from letter writing & essay. The written test will be of 25 marks and candidates have to appear for this otherwise they will not be considered for the selection process.
The IBPS mock test will be available on the official website few days before the exam. Candidates can visit the official website and take the mock test of IBPS PO for the better understanding of exam pattern. The IBPS PO mock test is designed similar to the actual exam.
IBPS will release the IBPS PO admit card 2023 at ibps.in. To download the admit card of IBPS PO 2023, candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth/password in the login window. The mains admit card of IBPS PO will be released 10 to 15 days before the exam. Only those candidates who qualify in IBPS PO prelims examination are able to download the mains admit card.
The admit card of IBPS PO carries details about exam venue, date and time of the exam, candidate’s name, registration number, password, space for photograph and signature etc. Along with the admit card, candidates had to carry any one of the photo identity proof to appear in the examination
Before downloading, candidates have to ensure to check all details mentioned on it were correct. If any discrepancies occurred, candidates are supposed to contact the officials immediately. The authority does not send any hard copy of the admit card to candidates through email ID/post.

IBPS PO Prelims Result 2023
The authorities will declare the IBPS PO 2023 result for prelims online on the official website. To check the IBPS PO result 2023, candidates have to use their registration number and date of birth/password.
On the basis of the preliminary exam, candidates are selected for the mains exam. The authority will soon release the scorecard for the same. Along with scorecard, the cutoff marks are also released. Candidates must note that preliminary marks are not used while preparing the final merit list and shortlisting candidates for interview.
IBPS PO Mains Result 2023
The authorities will declare the IBPS PO 2023 result for mains exam online on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their result by entering their registration number and password in the login window. The authority uses equip-percentile method to calculate the marks obtained by candidates in the exam is held on various shifts. Based on the marks obtained in the IBPS PO mains, the authority selects candidates for the interview round. The final merit list is also prepared on the basis of mains and interview marks.

IBPS will announce the IBPS PO cut off marks for prelims, mains and interview along with the result. The cut off for each stage will be released separately. The IBPS PO cut off is the minimum marks that the candidates need to score to qualify each stage of the examination.
In each stage of the exam, candidates have to score overall cut off marks as well as subject wise and category wise IBPS PO cutoff scores. Only those candidates who secure equal to or more than the decided IBPS PO cutoff will be declared qualified for the next stage of the recruitment process.
IBPS PO 2023 Selection Process
IBPS does the selection of candidates for the post of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees in three stages – prelims, mains and interview. The candidates must qualify the IBPS PO prelims exam first to proceed to the next stage of the selection procedure. Candidates who qualify mains exam will be called to participate in the Common Interview conducted by participating organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/UT with the help of IBPS.
IBPS PO selection procedure includes the following steps:
- Filling up online IBPS PO application form
- Appearing in Prelims and Mains online examination
- Interview round and Document Verification
- Provisional Allotment
- Issuance of Appointment
IBPS PO application form – The first stage of the selection process is filling and submitting the online application form within the prescribed dates. The application form is available online only.
Prelims and Mains examination – All registered candidates, have to appear in the preliminary exam. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in prelims exam. Only those candidates who will score more than or equal to the prelims cutoff will be selected for mains.
IBPS PO mains exam will be held for all the candidates who have qualified prelims exam. Candidates who have shortlisted in the mains exam will be called for the interview. Only marks secured in mains exam will be calculated for shortlisting candidates for the interview round.
Interview round and document verification – Shortlisted candidates in mains exam, will be called for Interview round to be organised by Nodal Banks in each State. The interview centre address, date and time for the Interview will be mentioned in the call letter. Candidates have to carry all the original documents as prescribed along with the call letter to the centre for verification of documents. Marks allotted for Interview are 100. The ratio of online mains exam and interview round will be 80:20.
Provisional Allotment – On the basis of the vacancies, candidates will be provisionally allotted to the participating banks of IBPS.
Issuance of appointment letter – The appointment letter will be issued to the candidates after verification of document and completing all the formalities.

This comparison is about selecting that thing which will have future scope and safety with opportunities. See banking jobs have advantage over engineering in any ways but the hectic work is something that is the main reason for not choosing it over engineering.
Talking baiut engineering, you will get ample of opportunities and you can switch your job roles based on your skills and interest. There are many ways through which you can do better jn your life. No doubt, initially the salary is low in engineering but it will good in IBPS PO as banking jobs have higher staring salary.
Just understand what your heart says and go for that.
Increment is also good in both options.

I am in last year of engineering can I apply for the IBPS PO exam
As per the official notification of IBPS for the recruitment of its probationary officers, it states :final year results of the candidates should be declared on or before 26th August,2020". So, if your final year results get declared within this stipulated time , then only you can apply for this exam, else you have to wait for next year.
Are MAKAUT university BSc+MSc data science graduate eligible to apply for RBI grade B DSIM/DEPR post? SSC CGL JSO and Complier post and UPSC ISS, IES post? Please mentioned other opportunities?
• Age Limit: The candidate must be 21 Years to 30 Years as on 01.04.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born between 02.04.1990 and 01.04.1999 (both dates inclusive)
• Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2020. Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2020. Candidates with Chartered Accountant certification may also apply.
SBI PO Selection Procedure: Important Points
The candidates should keep in mind the following points related to the SBI PO selection process:
• Biometric Verification: To ensure an error-free and secure selection procedure for SBI PO 2020, the bank may digitally capture the thumb impression of the candidate. This is done to verify the genuineness of the candidates. Any inconsistency in the biometric verification will lead to rejection of the candidature and punitive legal actions. Candidates are thus advised not to apply any kind of external matter like ink, mehandi, chemical etc. on their hands.
• Number of Attempts: The maximum number of chances are fixed for each category. Candidates who have used up all the chances are not eligible to apply. Appearing in Preliminary Exam is not counted as an attempt but appearing in Mains Exam is counted.
