Candidates must fulfill SBI Clerk eligibility criteria 2019 before they fill the application form so that their candidature is not rejected at any later stage. According to SBI clerk eligibility criteria 2019, candidates must be between 20 to 28 years of age as on April 1, 2019 and must have passed a graduation degree as on August 31, 2019 in order to apply for the exam.Candidates who meet all eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2019 determined by the exam conducting authority can fill the application form which is available from April 2 to May 3, 2019. The Eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2019 is based on:
Candidates who hold Indian citizenship can only meet the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria with respect to nationality.
Candidates must not be below 20 years of age as on April 1, 2019.
The upper age limit of the candidates must not exceed 28 years of age on April 1, 2019
There are various age relaxations provided by the exam conducting authority to the candidates belonging to the reserved category. The table below contains details about the age relaxations provided by SBI.
Jammu & Kashmir State domiciled candidates between
January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989
Actual period of service rendered in defence services+3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to maximum age of 50 years
Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried
7 years (subject to maximum age limit of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates)
Candidates must be graduate in any discipline from a recognized University by the Central Government.
Must have knowledge of the official and local language which must be proved by producing class 10th standard mark sheet/certificate, proving the evidence of having studied the official (local) language.
Writing and speaking English must be known to the candidates.
Candidates appearing in the final Semester/year of Graduation can also fill the application form of SBI Clerk 2019 provided they need to produce proof of passing the Graduation Examination during document verification before joining.
In case the candidates possess an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate must ensure the passing date on IDD is before August 31, 2019.
All those candidates who fulfill the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can fill the SBI Clerk application form 2019 from April 12 to May 3, 2019. The application form can be filled in online mode. Candidates must fill the application form within the time frame.
SBI Clerk 2019 exam is conducted in order to recruit the candidates in the clerical cadre at SBI. The exam is conducted in two phases - preliminary and mains. Candidates who qualify the prelims will be eligible to appear for the mains exam. All those candidates who will pass the mains exam of SBI clerk will be offered an appointment as per their merit position.
