SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024 - Nationality
As per the SBI Clerk notification 2024, candidates who are Indian citizens can apply for the SBI Clerk 2024 exam. Else he/ she must meet any of the criteria mentioned below.
A subject of Nepal or
A subject of Bhutan or
Tibetan refugees came to India, to permanently settle before January 1, 1962, or
People of Indian origin migrated from Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle in India.
Note: Candidates fulfilling any of the four points mentioned above in whose favour a certificate of eligibility by the Government of India has been issued are eligible to apply for the SBI Clerk 2024 exam.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024 - Age Limit
The State Bank of India prescribes the age limit in the official SBI Clerk notification 2024. According to SBI Clerk age limit eligibility, applicants between 20 to 28 years, can apply online for the SBI Clerk 2024 exam. SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024 - Academic Qualification
SBI will prescribe the minimum educational qualifications required to be eligible for filling the SBI Clerk application form 2024. So to be eligible for appearing in the SBI Clerk exam one must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Candidates appearing in the last semester of their degree can also apply for the SBI clerk 202 exam, they will have to produce their graduation passing certificates at time of document verification/ interview.

The passing date for dual degree courses is also August 31 , 2024.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024 - Attempt limit
There is no limit in the number of attempts that one can appear for the SBI Clerk exam. Candidates can apply for the SBI Clerk 2024 exam till they are meeting the upper age limit eligibility criteria set by the SBI for all the categories.
Who are not eligible to apply for SBI Clerk 2024
Candidates who have already served in the State Bank of India.
Those who have worked in SBI in the Clerical or Officer cadre can not apply for the exam.
Tax evaders who do not pay credit/ credit card bills or have a negative CIBIL score, etc.

SBI Clerk Application Form 2024
The State Bank of India has released the SBI Clerk 2024 application form on December 17, 2024. The last date to fill up the SBI clerk application form 2024 is January 7, 2025. Applicants who meet the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria 2024 will be eligible to apply online for the SBI Clerk 2024 exam on the official SBI website at sbi.co.in. The SBI Clerk application form 2024 fee is Rs 750 for General and OBC category candidates.

You can definitely apply for SBI clerk exam. As long as you are an Indian citizen, you meet the basic eligibility criteria. Your parents' nationality doesn't affect your eligibility for government jobs in India.
