SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019 - State Bank of India determines the eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk taking nationality, age, and education qualification into consideration. Candidates must fulfill SBI Clerk eligibility criteria 2019 before they fill the application form so that their candidature is not rejected at any later stage. According to SBI clerk eligibility criteria 2019, candidates must be between 20 to 28 years of age as on April 1, 2019. Along with the age criteria, candidates must have a graduation degree as on August 31, 2019 in order to apply for SBI Clerk exam.

Candidates who meet all eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2019 determined by the exam conducting authority can fill the application form which was available from April 2 to May 3, 2019. On filling the application form successfully, candidates can download the SBI Clerk admit card 2019 from May 29 to June 23, 2019. SBI Clerk 2019 prelims exam will be held on June 22, 23 and 30, 2019.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019

The Eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2019 is based on:

  • Nationality

  • Age

  • Educational Qualification

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Nationality

Candidates who hold Indian citizenship can only meet the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria with respect to nationality.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Age (As on April 1, 2019)

  • Candidates must not be below 20 years of age as on April 1, 2019.

  • The upper age limit of the candidates must not exceed 28 years of age on April 1, 2019

There are various age relaxations provided by the exam conducting authority to the candidates belonging to the reserved category. The table below contains details about the age relaxations provided by SBI.

The actual period of service rendered in defence services+3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to maximum age of 50 years

Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried

7 years (subject to maximum age limit of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates)


SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Educational Qualification (As on August 31, 2019)

  • Candidates must be graduate in any discipline from a recognized University by the Central Government.

  • Must have knowledge of the official and local language which must be proved by producing class 10th standard mark sheet/certificate, proving the evidence of having studied the official (local) language.

  • Writing and speaking English must be known to the candidates.

  • Candidates appearing in the final Semester/year of Graduation can also fill the application form of SBI Clerk 2019 provided they need to produce proof of passing the Graduation Examination during document verification before joining.

  • In case the candidates possess an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate must ensure the passing date on IDD is before August 31, 2019.

All those candidates who fulfill the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can fill the SBI Clerk application form 2019 from April 12 to May 3, 2019. The application form can be filled in online mode. Candidates must fill the application form within the time frame.

The age eligibility qualification for SBI clerk are as follows, Candidate should Not be below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.01.2020, i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1992 and not later than 01.01.2000 (both days inclusive).I regret to inform you this but you are not eligible

Hi Abhishek Singh,
The minimum age required is 20 years and the candidate's age should not be more than 28 years as April 1, 2020.
However there is an age relaxation of 5 years for those who belong to SC & ST category, 3 years to ODC & 10 years to PWD in case of general, 15 years to PWD in case of SC & ST and 13 years to PWD in case of OBC.

SBI has released the Clerk application form on January 02, 2020. You can fill it from January 03 to 26, 2020 in online mode from the official website of SBI. The SBI clerk result dates are not yet released.

Hello

Sorry to inform you that you are not eligible for SBI Clerk Exam 2020.As per the SBI Clerk exam eligibility,a candidate age should be of 20-28 years as on January 1st,2020.Also the maximum age for exam is 28 years for General Category,which is 31 years for OBC and 33 for SC/ST category.

So you can appear for the exam next year.

Yes you can fill the application form of SBI because the age limit to apply for SBI Clerk is 20- 28 years. Only those candidates who successfully fill the application form will receive SBI Clerk admit card tentatively by Feb 10.

It is to be noted that SBI Clerk recruitment process involves two stages- prelims and mains.
