AFCAT Exam Dates 2019

AFCAT Exam Dates 2019 - Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the link to choose AFSB date and venue. The facility will be available till March 12, 2019 (11:59 pm). Candidates unable to exercise the option within the prescribed date will be allotted dates and venues by the exam conducting body. IAF had released the result of AFCAT 1 online exam on March 6, 2019. However, candidates will be able to check the cut off and scores after the exam for Jammu candidates have been successfully conducted. IAF conducts AFCAT 1 exam to recruit candidates for gazetted officers’ post in flying branch and ground duty branches - technical and non-technical. IAF had declared the exam dates of AFCAT along with the notification on December 1, 2018. The exam is held twice every year – February and August. With the help of AFCAT exam dates 2019, candidates can stay updated regarding the events of the recruitment process.

Note: IAF has postponed the exam to be held on February 17, 2019 for the exam centres with codes 222, 223, 224 and 225 located in Jammu city. The exam dates for candidates from these exam centres whose test was scheduled on February 17 and those candidates who were unable to attend the test on February 16 will be announced soon.

AFCAT Application Form 2019

According to AFCAT exam dates 2019, IAF had released the online application form of AFCAT on December 1, 2018 (12 am). The last day to fill AFCAT application form was December 30, 2018. Candidates could complete the registration process in two parts. Candidates have to fill both parts of the application form in order to apply successfully for the exam.


AFCAT Admit Card 2019 

On the basis of AFCAT exam dates 2019, Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued the admit card of AFCAT (1) 2019 in the online mode. The admit card has been released on January 30 and could be downloaded till February 17, 2019. Candidates can download the admit card by clicking on the admit card link (available on this page) and entering their registered email ID. 


AFCAT 2019 Exam 

IAF conducts AFCAT 1 in three exam stages – online exam, AFSB test and interview. Candidates must qualify each exam stage to be selected for the next stage of the selection process. As per AFCAT exam dates 2019, the online test was conducted on February 16 and 17, 2019. Candidates who have applied for Ground Duty technical branch must appear for additional Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). EKT is held on the day of exam after the completion of the online test. On the basis of performance in the online exam, candidates will be called for AFSB tests. Candidates who have applied for flying branch will need to appear for Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test.


AFCAT Result 2019

The result of AFCAT 1 has been released online by Indian Air Force (IAF). Results are released separately for each stage of the exam. Candidates securing the qualifying marks in each stage of AFCAT exam are shortlisted to appear in the next stage of selection process.
