Highlights Of AFCAT Exam 2020 Dates
AFCAT exam 2020 will be conducted in online mode.
Different stages of the AFCAT exam 2020 are online exam followed by SSB interview and medical test.
Candidates who will qualify the online examination will be called for SSB interview.
IAF released the online application form for AFCAT 2020 on the official website on June 15, 2020. Candidates who met the eligibility criteria of AFCAT applying for the AFCAT application form 2020. The examination fee for AFCAT was 250/- for all the candidates irrespective of gender and category. Candidates also need to upload a scanned copy of the photograph, signature, and thumb impression in the AFCAT application form 2020 as per the specifications given in the notification. Candidates first need to complete AFCAT registration. After successful registration candidates can proceed to AFCAT login to fill the application form.
IAF released AFCAT admit card 2020 on September 15 at its official website. I would like to tell you that you have to score a minimum of 60% in your graduation degree to give afcat.
And the other thing is anybody can give afcat exam whether you do bsc or BTech.

Yes, you can apply for Technical, Flying as well as Non Flying Branches in AFCAT after B.tech Metallurgical Engineering. and also you are eligible for other defence jobs since their eligibility is a graduation or engineering from any stream with minimum 60%.

Is it free of cost to become an iaf pilot from a government academy after afcat? If not then how much does it costs?
If you are recommended and merit in candidate in flying branch you will undergo 54 weeks of training in flying branch. The training is divided into 4 stages namely Stage 0, State 1, stage 2 and Stage 3.
Stage 0 and state 1 training is for 6 weeks and the duration of state 2 and Stage 3 training is 48 weeks. During this training you will be receiving Rs. 56,100 per month as stipend. You do not have to pay anything for your flying training.
sr i have done ma +2 science with 86%,after that i completed ma diploma in CE with 87% then take btech degree in CE via lateral entry (with 76%).. am i eligible for applying afcat exam?
To apply for SSC in the Flying Branch, you can apply through AFCAT. This is for 14 years with no further extension. The eligibility criteria says that:
- You should be aged between 20-24 at the time of commencement of the course
- You should be an Indian National
- Your marital status should be single
- You should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- You should have studied Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level and should have score a minimum of 60% of marks in both these subjects separately.
- If it is B.Tech, it should be a 4 year course and should have completed your BE/B.Tech with a minimum aggregate of 60%.

Now regarding B.Tech Lateral Entry, it says that B.Tech should have been 4 years but you have studied only 3 years due to Lateral entry. Please mail them at: email@example.com for a clarification on this. Going by what has been mentioned in the official website, lateral Entry is allowed for Integrated courses but not regular courses.

Yes , You are eligible. The IAF Flying branch's eligibility is that you should have for Graduation + physics and maths in 12TH Standard. So if you apply for the AFCAT/CDS and mention your 12th NIOS qualification, nobody can challenge your eligibility.
