SBI Clerk Result 2018 - State Bank of India (SBI) has released the score card of SBI Clerk 2018 exam on October 8. Candidates can check their scores and download SBI Clerk score card by entering their roll number, date of birth or registration number and date of birth. Earlier, SBI Clerk result 2018 (mains) was declared on September 21 for those candidates who have taken the test on August 5. The result of SBI Clerk 2018 reflects the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. 7954 candidates have qualified the mains examination of SBI Clerk 2018. After the declaration of the SBI Clerk result 2018 state-wise and category-wise cut off will also be released. SBI Clerk Scorecard 2018 is also being released after the result declaration.
Joining of the selected candidates will take place in the first week of December 2018, based on their performance in the examination. SBI Clerk is being held for recruiting eligible candidates as Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. Through SBI Clerk result, candidates will also get details about their section-wise and total marks secured out of 200 as per the different categories.

As many as 9,633 clerical vacancies have been announced this year, which will be filled through SBI Clerk 2018 exam. Approximately 96,330 candidates have taken SBI Clerk mains examination 2018, which is 10 times the number of total vacancies. This means that as per the official criteria, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies have been shortlisted to take the mains exam.

SBI Clerk result 2018 for mains exam
The State Bank of India will determine the qualifying or passing marks for SBI Clerk main exam 2018 on the basis of overall performance of all test-takers and difficulty level of the exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS categories will be given 5% relaxation in qualifying/passing marks criteria.
SBI Clerk Mains Scorecard 2018
SBI Clerk Scorecard of Mains exam contains marks obtained by the candidates in each subject, overall marks and qualifying marks of all categories (Gen/OBC/PH/SC/ST/OH). Besides that, SBI Clerk mains scorecard will carry the qualifying status (if the candidates have qualified the exam or not) and the total marks secured by the last candidate who has qualified the SBI Clerk 2018 exam.
SBI Clerk Final Result 2018
The final result of SBI Clerk 2018 will be declared in the form of provisional list of candidates selected for allotment. SBI Clerk result (Final) is prepared after considering the SBI Clerk mains result only. Marks secured in the prelims exam are not considered for the final result. Final selection of candidates is made on the basis of SBI Clerk 2018 Mains exam only. The final result of SBI Clerk reflects list of candidates qualified in the exam and their provisional allotment.

As per the Central Government’s order, interview and GD stages of SBI Clerk examination have been scrapped from January 1, 2016, onwards.
Language Test After Provisional Selection
Candidates selected (as per the final SBI Clerk result 2018) will have to produce 12th or 10th class mark sheet or certificate as a proof that they have studied the local language of the state they have been selected in. In case the selected candidates have not studied the local language in school, then such candidates have to take the opted local language test after the provisional selection. Failing in the local language test means the candidates are disqualified.

The result of SBI Clerk 2018 preliminary exam was announced on July 17. Candidates who managed to secure the overall and the sectional minimum qualifying marks of SBI Clerk preliminary examination had appeared for the mains examination.

SBI Clerk preliminary exam scorecard consists of total marks in each subject, minimum qualifying marks for different categories (Gen/OBC/PH/SC/ST/OH), marks secured by the candidate in each subject and total marks obtained out of 100 marks.
