IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2025 - Prelims
According to the IBPS PO prelims exam pattern 2025, there will be 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each. The questions will be asked about Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deductible. The IBPS PO 2025 prelims exam will be conducted in online mode. Applicants who qualify for the prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the IBPS PO 2025 mains exam. According to the IBPS PO 2025 exam pattern, applicants who qualify in the prelims exam are required to appear in mains exam. The exam will be held in online mode for a total of 200 marks along with a 25-mark portion of letter and essay writing in English. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deductible. IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2025- Interview
Applicants will have to sit for the interview round after passing the mains exam. The interview round in the IBPS PO 2025 exam pattern is designed to test candidates’ personalities, knowledge of current affairs and the banking sector. For this round, a total of 100 marks will be allocated. Candidates who pass the interview round successfully will become eligible for IBPS recruitment.
IBPS PO Marking Scheme
IBPS PO marking scheme is prescribed by the exam conducting authority. The IBPS PO marking scheme is given below:
- Candidates will get one mark for correct answers
- As per the IBPS PO negative marking, 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers

yes, you can apply for IBPS PO exam.
IBPS PO eligibility criteria for PWD category - According to the government of india norms, people with benchmark disability are eligible for reservation under section -34 of "The Rights of person with disabilities act ,2016" and the categories of disabilities eligible for reservation as per the act are mentioned below-
1.Deaf and hard of hearing.
2.Blindness and low vision.
3.Mental illness, autism, specific learning disability, intellectual disability and locomotor disability which includes palsy ,dwarfism, muscular dystrophy and acid attack victims.
4.People having benchmark disabilities will be assigned with the reserved vacancies as per the "Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016".

The age of candidates wishing to appear in SBI/IBPS PO should be between 21 to 30 years as of April 1, 2022. For example, for SBI/IBPS PO, the official advertisement said that candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2000 and not earlier than 02.04.1991. However, there is also a provision for age relaxation for certain categories of aspirants which are as follows-
- SC/ST- 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)- 3 years
- PWD (SC/ ST)- 15 years
- PWD (OBC)- 13 years
- PWD (Gen/ EWS)- 10 years
- Ex-servicemen- 5 years
- Candidates who are domiciled in Kashmir division of the state of J&K between 1 January 1980 and 31 December 1989- 5 years
If you belong to the UR/General category, then you're not eligible for SBI/IBPS PO 2023 exam.

The maximum limit setup for ibps po or SBI po exams is 30. years , so you are eligible to give exam.
However, candidates from the reserved category are given the following age relaxations on the upper age restriction, which varies by category:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- SC/ST (PWD); 15 years
- PWD OBC: 13 years
- PWD General: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/Short, Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs),
- Ordinarily domiciled candidates from J&K, from the period January 1, 1980 to December 31, 1989: 5 years.
