IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) prescribes the exam pattern of IBPS PO 2019. The examination authority releases IBPS PO 2019 exam pattern along with the notification. It is important for the candidates to go through IBPS PO exam pattern before they start preparing for the exam. IBPS PO exam pattern 2019 contains various sections from where the questions are expected to be asked, marks distribution, time allotment etc. By going through IBPS PO 2019 exam pattern, candidate will also be able to know the various stages in which the exam will be held. As per the IBPS PO exam pattern 2019 , the test will be held in three stages - prelims, mains and interview. Candidates who pass in prelims will have to appear for the mains exam of IBPS PO while mains qualified candidates will have to appear for the interview round.
As per IBPS PO 2019 exam pattern, the test of each stage is to be held in online mode. In the prelims exam of IBPS PO 2019, there will be questions from three sections - Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English containing a total of 100 marks. However, the mains exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks containing questions from five sections - Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English Language, Data Analysis and Interpretation. IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 - Phases of Exam

As per the exam pattern of IBPS PO 2019, the exam is held in the following three stages:

  • IBPS PO Prelims Exam

  • IBPS PO Mains Exam

  • Interview of IBPS PO

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 for Mains Exam

Only those candidates will be able to appear for the mains exam who will qualify in the prelims phase. According to the IBPS PO 2019 exam pattern, candidates qualifying in the mains exam will have to appear for the Interview round.   • The mains exam will be held in online mode
  • Duration allotted for the mains exam is 3 hours 30 minutes.
  • Medium of the exam will be both Hindi and English except for English.
  • For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. However, no marks will be deducted in case the answer is left unanswered.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 for Interview

All those candidates who will pass the mains exam will be called for the interview round. For the interview round, 100 marks is allotted. The interview is conducted to test the candidate's personality and knowledge of the banking sector, current affairs etc.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 for Prelims Exam

The prelims exam of IBPS PO is the first stage in the selection process of the examination. As per the exam pattern of IBPS PO, all those candidates who qualify in the prelims exam will qualify for the mains exam. The table below contains the sections from where the questions will be asked in the prelims exam, number of questions asked from each section, mark allotted for the section, mode of the test, allotted time etc.

  • The prelims exam has questions from three sections - Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.

  • English Language sections have 30 questions of 1 mark each while the Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude have 35 questions carrying 1 mark each.

  • The test is held in both Hindi and English except of English which is held in only English.

  • Each of the three section is allotted 20 minutes within which candidates must complete each section which means the test is conducted for a total of 100 marks.

  • For each wrong response given by the candidate, 0.25 marks will be deducted. No marks will be deducted in case the answer is left unanswered.

No you will not be able to skip the section which your screen will display. You will have to complete the particular section in the allotted tim frame and only then you will proceed to the next section.

Question: What is the difference between tier I exam of IBPS PO and Prelims exam of IBPS PO?

Answer:

Both Tier I and Prelims exam of IBPS PO means the same. It is the first stage of IBPS PO examination.

Question: Can I appear for IBPS PO exam in pen and paper mode if I find it difficult to take online test?

Answer:

No you must be proficient in computer language since the exam will be conducted in online mode only. IBPS PO exam will be conducted in no other mode.

Hi Bibhas,

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.

This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.

The application form of NIMCET 2020 will be released soon through which the candidates can fill the form and appear in the entrance exam. NIMCET admit card will also be released to be downloaded by candidates. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and the result of the same will be declared on the official website of NIMCET 2020.

Total 809 seats are available and duration of exam is 2 hours.

Hello,

Yes,you can surely crack IBPS PO,RRB PO or any other banking exam,you have to make a time table for that, most banking exams follow similar pattern in their stage 1 as well as stage 2 exams.

Accuracy and speed matters the most in these exams, also it has sectional timing which makes it more challenging. You need to be really good with the subjects like Quant,Reasoning, English etc.

The level of question in banking examis of higher level compared to SSC, make sure you practice mock papers on a regular basis. Also,give test series before exams,it'll help you evaluate your progress.

The minimum and maximum age of a candidate for IBPS PO 2020 should be 20 years and 30 years respectively as on 1st July of 2020. And for SBI PO 2020 should be 21 years and 30 years respectively as on 1st April 2020. And you will complete your 30th on 03.03.2020. Thus it makes you ineligible for both the exams.

IBPS has released official notification of Probationary Officer at its official website. As per the notifications candidates between 20 to 30 year of age are eligible to apply. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1989 and not later than 01.08.1999. For more details candidates can check IBPS eligibility criteria .

No, you are not eligible for apply IBPS PO. According to the rules, The minimum age of candidate should be 20 and maximum age should be 30. The candidate who born earlier than 1 august 2000 then He/ she can apply for IBPS PO 2020.
