The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has revised the IBPS PO 2025 exam pattern. Candidates can check the revised IBPS PO exam pattern 2025 now. In the recent notification released by the IBPS, there were a few changes made in the IBPS PO exam pattern 2025. In prelims, the reasoning paper total marks changed from 35 to 40. Whereas in the IBPS PO mains exam paper, the digital topic has been added in the General Awareness section. There are three stages of the IBPS PO recruitment 2025 – prelims, mains and interview. The IBPS PO 2025 new exam pattern will help students to know all the details, such as maximum marks, the number of questions from each section and different phases of the exam. Candidates are advised to plan their exam strategy as per the IBPS PO paper pattern 2025.

According to the IBPS PO prelims exam pattern 2025, there will be 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each. The questions will be asked about reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, and English. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. The IBPS PO 2025 prelims exam will be conducted in online mode. Applicants who qualify for the prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the IBPS PO 2025 mains exam. According to the IBPS PO 2025 exam pattern, applicants who qualify in the prelims exam are required to appear in the mains exam. The exam will be held in online mode for a total of 200 marks, along with a 25-mark portion of letter and essay writing in English. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. Applicants will have to sit for the interview round after passing the mains exam. The interview round in the IBPS PO 2025 exam pattern is designed to test candidates’ personalities, knowledge of current affairs and the banking sector. For this round, a total of 100 marks will be allocated. Candidates who pass the interview round successfully will become eligible for IBPS recruitment.

Generally, for IBPS you will need to obtain a new SC caste certificate from Maharashtra in case you have got Maharashtra cadre. For changing your post from Maharashtra to Rajasthan which is does not usually happen as it completely depends on the bank's policy where you would work, overall changing your posting may happen but not guaranteed.
