CTET Application Form 2019 - Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has activated the CTET 2019 application form correction window on October 4, 2019. Candidates could make the desired changes and corrections in CTET application form 2019 in online mode till October 10, 2019. To make changes in the application form of CTET 2019, candidates must click on the link available on this page and enter application number and password. Candidates must make corrections in the CTET 2019 application form within the allotted time frame. Aspirants could fill CTET 2019 application form till September 30, 2019. However, the application fee of CTET could be paid till October 3, 2019 (5:00 pm). The authority had released CTET 2019 application form for December on August 19. Candidates who hold Graduation Degree and are appearing or have passed the two years Diploma Degree in Elementary Education can fill the application form of CTET 2019. Candidates could earlier apply for CTET application form till September 25, 2019.

CTET is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the recruitment as Teachers in classes 1 to 8. CTET 2019 will be conducted on December 8. The exam is conducetd for two papers - paper I and II. Candidates aspiring to be teachers of class 1 to 5 have to take paper I, while paper II is for candidates who want to become teachers from class 6 to 8.

As per the official data, more candidates apply for paper II than paper I. In the CTET exam conducted in February 2016, 200100 candidates applied for the paper I whereas 558137 candidates had registered for paper II exam. Similarly, in the CTET exam conducted in September 2015, 250075 candidates registered for the paper I while 559239 candidates had applied for appearing in paper II.

CTET Application Form 2019 - Registration

Registration is the first step in filling the CTET application form. In order to register, candidates must:

  • Click on the application link of CTET above

  • Enter the required details like email ID and mobile.

  • Click on submit.

After clicking on submit, a user ID and password is generated by the system which is sent to the candidates through email and SMS. Candidates must remember the ID and password as it will be required to access the application form, admit card, result.

CTET 2019 Application Form - Filling Details

In order to fill the details in CTET Registration 2019, candidates must login by using their login credentials generated after registering.


The screen then displays the application form of CTET where candidates are required to enter their personal and educational details, centre preferences, opt subjects etc.


Candidates must fill the following details in CTET application form 2019:

  • Name

  • Father and mother name

  • Address

  • Date of birth

  • Category

  • Paper opted (i.e. Paper I or Paper II)

  • Subject for paper II

  • Centre preferences

  • A language I and/or II opted

  • The name of the Institution/College/University from where he/she has obtained his/her B.Ed Degree/Diploma in Elementary Education etc.

  • Candidates must fill all the details correct as no modification/rectification will be allowed after the final submission.

After the filing of an application form and uploading image and signature, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee. The application fee of CTET must be paid in online/offline mode through Debit/Credit card, e-challan. After the submission of an application fee, a confirmation slip is generated by the system. Candidates must get the confirmation slip printed and keep it safe for future references. Hello student yes you should appear for the exam and at the time of counselling you should clear all the doubts in case if they didn't agree and can't take your admission then you can drop a year for which you're already prepared by not appearing in the exam but if you appear in the exam you'll gain experience an overview of exam also a chance what if they'll correct your information at the time of admission.

i have entered wrong date in my date of birth suppose to be 25/03/1999 but written 23/03/1999 for the CTET examination December 2019 should i be allow to enter exam hall or not?

You can sit for the exam because they will match your thumb impression and also face recognition. You can carry your original document and provide at the time of entry so that they will verify you and will allow you to sit for the exam.

when the admit card for ctet exam for dec 2019 will be despatched

It is said that CTET admit cards will be available in the month of November on 28th.
Examination date for CTET examination is on December 8th. Both the papers are conducted on the same date.
  • 1st paper is at 8AM
  • 2nd paper is at 12:30PM

Hello Abhya,

Since it is clearly mentioned in the CTET 2019 notification for the December exam, that no request for change of medium will be entertained under any circumstances, you will have to take the test in that medium only which you have opted. Try and make it happen, if not you may appear again in CTET 2020 June session and choose your medium wisely.

You are asking an incomplete or improper question.

As of now Aadhar card is mandatory in most of the exams similarly for CTET you have to fill your Aadhar card also and talking about is it valid or not. If you fill up your correct details in the form then it is of course valid.
