CBSE closed the CTET 2024 application form correction window on October 25, 2024 at ctet.nic.in. The CTET application form correction window 2024 was activated in online on October 21, 2024. The CTET application form 2024 was closed on October 16, 2024 for the December 2024 session. CBSE released the CTET 2024 application form in online mode on September 17, 2024.

The CTET 2024 application form December session was released at ctet.nic.in. Candidates need to register themselves first before the CTET application form. After completion of the CTET 2024 registration process, candidates needed to fill out the online application form, pay the fee and upload the related documents.

Candidates also need to upload a scanned copy of the photograph along with the signature while submitting the CTET application form. The online application fee for CTET 2024 for both papers is Rs 1200 for general and OBC candidates while candidates belonging to reserved categories have to pay the application fee of Rs 600. Candidates who successfully submitted the application form of the CTET exam are allowed to make corrections in the CTET application form 2024. CTET is conducted for two papers. Paper 1 is applicable for the recruitment of class I-V and Paper 2 is conducted for class VI-VIII.

CTET Registration 2024: Things to Keep in Mind

  • Candidates need to provide their own mobile number and email ID while filling the CTET 2024 application form.

  • Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the filled application form along with a copy of the e-challan for future reference.

  • The conducting body will not provide an application correction facility in offline mode. Candidates can make changes in the application form only when CBSE releases an online application correction window on the official website.

  • The application fee once submitted by the candidate can’t be refunded in any circumstances.

Step by Step Guide to apply for CTET 2024 Exam

Step-I: Registration form

  • Go to the official website @ctet.nic.in and click the link ‘Apply for CTET December-2024' on the home screen.

  • Then click on ‘New Candidate Registration’ button

  • Important information will be displayed, read the information carefully and tick the box given below.

  • Now, click the link ‘Click to proceed,’ applicants will be redirected to the application form page.

Step-II: Setting CTET Password

  • Password length should be between 8 and 13 characters

  • CTET 2024 Password must have at least one uppercase letter, lowercase letters and a numeric value and at least one special character! # $% & * -

  • If required, after logging in, applicants are allowed to change their passwords.

  • The new password for CTET Application Form 2024 should not be the same as the previous three passwords.

  • The password should not be shared with anyone as the authorities will not be held responsible if the password is misused

Step-III: Filling Up the Application Form

Enter the asked details and complete the online CTET Application Form 2024 and set the password

  • Enter the details such as follows:

  • Personal details: candidate name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, Identity type, Identity number.

  • Contact details: Address, state, District, pin code, e-mail ID, phone number

  • General Details: Nationality, category, language preference, educational qualification, preferred exam centre, employee status and other qualifications based details.

  • After submitting, a Registration number / application number will be generated. Make a note of the registration number. For the next login, the system registration number / application number and the selected password will be used.

Step-IV: Upload Scanned Documents

  • Uploading the scanned photo and signature is mandatory

  • Upload the scanned photo and signature in JPG / JPEG format

  • .The size of the scanned photo should be 10 to 100 KB and the image size of the photo should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).

  • The size of the scanned signature should be 3 to 30 KB and the image size of the signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).

Step-V: Payment of Application Fees

Applicants can pay the application fee either online mode or offline mode. Applicants can pay the fee through e-challan by paying the prescribed fee at the CTET exam fee account at the Bank. Applicants can also pay the fee online through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Yes, you can prepare for the exam. The minimum eligibility is to have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation but there is 5% relaxation for the reserved categories. If you have cleared the CTET exam, you are eligible for the exam and prepare well to get a good score.

To be eligible for the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Social Science exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

If you have paid twice for your CTET application form 2024, here's how to seek a refund on one of those payments:

Official CTET Website: You check the official website of CTET for such instructions if any for duplicate payments.

CTET Helpdesk: You would be required to email or call on the helpline number of the CTET. Here's what you need to provide in that email/call- application number, both the transaction details, and a screenshot or photocopy of the payment receipt.

Bank Support: Obtain the contact numbers of both the banks holding the accounts. Mail them with transaction details and ask them to walk you through the refund procedure.

Track the refund status with the CTET board and the banks too. If the board does not do anything, it might be an auto-reversal in your bank account. Keep following both the organizations regularly.

Maintain all the correspondence and payment slips for creating a record of refund.
