CTET Application Form 2018 - The login to download the correction slip has been made available. The correction facility for CTET 2018 application form was available from September 6 to 15, 2018. To access the CTET 2018 application form correction window candidates had to enter their registration number, password and security pin. The CTET application form 2018 was available from August 1 to 27. The fee of CTET application form 2018 could be paid till September 5, 2018. However, as per the new eligibility, all the eligible candidates for paper - I can fill the form from September 6 to 15.

 

CTET application fee could be paid either online or via e-challan as per their category and choice of paper. Fee for general/OBC category for only Paper I or II is Rs 700 (Rs. 350 for SC/ST/Differently abled), while the fee for both Paper - I and II is Rs. 1200 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 600 for SC./ST/Differently Abled.

The application form of CTET 2018 involved five steps – registration, filling the detailed form, uploading of scanned images of photograph and signature, fee payment and taking a printout of application form. Candidates were advised to read the guidelines carefully to avoid any mistakes while filling the CTET application form 2018. CTET 2018 Application Form Correction Window

 

CBSE has enabled the correction window for making modifications in CTET application form 2018 from September 6 to 15. Candidates will not be able to correct any details in the CTET application form after September 15.  Candidates shall be permitted to make online corrections only once in their following particulars only:

  • Name

  • Father and mother name

  • Date of birth, category

  • Differently abled category

  • Paper opted (i.e. Paper I or Paper II)

  • Subject for Paper II

  • First choice of Centre

  • The language I and/or II opted

  • Address of correspondence

  • The name of the Institution/College/University from where he/she has obtained his/her B.Ed Degree/Diploma in Elementary Education etc.

Important Note: No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application or by email etc. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Please note that no request for any change in particular/s will be accepted under any circumstances after the specified date for online correction is over.

 

CTET 2018 Application Form Status

 

The facility to check application status will be available after final submission of application. The process to check application status is explained below.

  • Click on the link ‘CTET 2018 application form status’

  • Enter registration number in the login page

  • Check whether your application has been accepted or rejected or fee has been received or not.

  • CTET admit card will be issued to candidates whose applications will be accepted by the exam conducting authority.

Pre-requisites for CTET Application Form 2018

  • Candidates are advised to keep an active and valid email ID till the recruitment process is completed.

  • Candidates need to have their passport size photograph, as well as signature, scanned as per the required specifications.

  • A copy of class X certificate.

  • Details of the bank account or card through which payment is to be done

How to fill CTET Application Form 2018?

The CTET 2018 application form could have been filled in 5 steps mentioned below:

Step 1- Registration

Candidates had to click on 'Apply Online' option and enter all the required details in the space provided. Fill details like State, Identification type (select any Identity as applicable), candidate’s name, and date of birth and gender. After filling in all details a unique registration number will be generated. Candidates must note down this application/registration number, as candidates will need to have this generated application number and the chosen password for the subsequent login.

 

Step 2- Fill application form of CTET 2018

  • After the registration, candidates need to fill in the application form by visiting the application form link on this page.

  • The filling of CTET application form 2018 involves entering personal details. Keep the pre-requisites mentioned above ready, before filling the CTET 2018 application form.

Step 3- Upload scanned images of photograph and signature

  • In the second stage, candidates are required to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature only in .jpg format.

  • Make sure both the scanned images are clear.

  • Candidate should take care that his/her face is not covered in the photograph and is clearly visible

Step 4- Pay examination fee

  • The third stage of CTET application form involves remitting the application fee. Without submitting the exam fee, the application procedure would be incomplete and candidates won’t be able to successfully submit the CTET application form 2018.

  • Mode of payment: Candidates have to pay application fee after filling the necessary details. There are two modes to remit the application fee of CTET 2018: e-challan or debit/credit card (Online and Offline)

  • Payment by Syndicate Bank e-Challan

  • Payment by Canara Bank e-Challan

  • If the candidate pays the fee online, he/she should take the print out of the page declaring successful fee transaction. Also, after depositing fee in Bank, i.e. through e-challan, candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated confirmation page after successful submission and keep it for the record and future reference, if required.

Step 5- Print confirmation for future reference

After successful submission of the CTET 2018 application form, candidates are advised to take a print out of the page declaring that they have successfully submitted the application form and the application fee. This record will prove helpful for future reference. They do not need to send the printout of the submitted application form to the exam authority.

 

CTET Application Form 2018 – Which mode of payment to choose and why?

 

As mentioned above, candidates can remit the fee for CTET application form in two modes:

1. Remittance through e-Challan

Candidates who do not wish to submit application fee online or are not aware of online transaction process are given an option to pay the fee via e-challan, which they have to generate while filling the application form of CTET. After taking the print out of the e-challan the candidates have to go to the bank and deposit fee. After submitting fee in banks, candidates must take out the print of the confirmation page declaring successful fee transaction and application submission.

2. Remittance by using Debit/Credit Card

Candidates can pay the application fee for CTET 2018 online. Candidates are advised to not re-load the payment gateway page and make sure the internet connection is intact while remitting the fee online.

 

CTET Application Form 2018 FAQs

Ques: Can I apply for CTET again if I had qualified earlier?

Ans: Yes, candidates can fill CTET application form again even if they have qualified earlier. There is no restriction in the number of attempts.

Ques: Amount has been debited from my account while filling CTET application form but I did not receive confirmation page?

Ans: Due to congestion on Server sometimes online transaction fails. In that case, candidates have to again pay the fee to get the confirmation page. The amount deducted will be refunded within 10-15 working days.

Ques: I made a mistake in my name/address/category/exam centre/photo/sign. What should I do now?

Ans: You can do the online correction. The window to make correction will remain active for a certain period. After this, no change will be entertained. Candidates are advised to download the revised confirmation page after making a correction.

Ques: What is the confirmation page?

Ans: Confirmation page indicates that your application form along with fee has been received by the board
