RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) determines RRB NTPC eligibility criteria for all aspiring candidates. RRB NTPC eligibility criteria 2019 is determined on the basis of age, and educational qualification of the candidates. As per RRB NTPC 2019 eligibility criteria, candidates between 18 to 30 years of age and 18 to 33 years of age can apply for the undergraduate and graduate level posts respectively. However, the educational criteria is different for different posts for which RRB NTPC exam is conducted. Candidates must go through RRB NTPC eligibility criteria 2019 before they fill the application form. It is important for the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria of RRB NTPC while they apply for the desired post.

RRB NTPC 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The examination authority determines the eligibility criteria of RRB NTPC on the basis of the following two factors:

  • Age

  • Educational Qualification

As per the eligibility criteria of RRB NTPC 2019, candidates who are between 18 to 33 years of age can apply for Graduate level Posts whereas candidates between 18 to 30 years can apply for Under Graduate Level Posts.

50% in class 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Pwd/ Ex-servicemen and candidates with higher qualifications.

Trains Clerk

50% marks in class 12th or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate and for those belonging to SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 stage) , it is not applicable.

Junior Clerk Cum Typist

12th or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate but 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th

Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on Computer is essential


RRB NTPC Application Form 2019

All those candidates who meet RRB NTPC eligibility criteria 2019 was able to fill the application form which was available from March 1 to 31, 2019. To apply for RRB NTPC, candidates had to register, enter their personal details, educational details and upload scanned photograph, signature and pay the application fee. Along with filling the form, candidates belonging to OBC and General categories had to pay Rs. 500 whereas SC/ST/Minorities/Transgenders/PWD and females needed to pay Rs. 250. The application fee could be paid through online and offline mode through Debit Card/Internet Banking or Challan.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2019

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) prescribes the RRB NTPC exam pattern for all aspiring candidates. The exam pattern of RRB NTPC 2019 must be gone through before starting the preparation of the exam. By going through the exam pattern, candidates will be able to know the stages in the exam, the mode of the test, the number of questions asked in the exam, marking schemes etc. As per RRB NTPC exam pattern 2019, the exam is conducted in three stages - CBT 1, CBT 2, and Typing Skill Test/ Aptitude Test. The first stage of the exam is Computer Based Test (CBT) which includes an aptitude test of 90 minutes duration for 100 questions from General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and Mathematics section. In the second stage of the RRB NTPC exam, there are a total of 120 questions asked from Mathematics , Reasoning and General Awareness. Candidates are given 90 minutes to complete the exam.

Even if you have registered for the exam or course you will be notified through your emai id.
