The SSC CGL admit card 2018 will be available online region-wise to download. Candidates can download SSC CGL 2018 admit card by entering their registration number/roll number/name and date of birth. The admit card of SSC CGL 2018 will include details like name, roll number, photograph, signature, date, time and exam centre. The examination authority will not sent SSC CGL admit card 2018 by post therefore candidates have to download it online. Candidates are advised to check details printed on SSC CGL 2018 admit card. Candidates can download the admit card till the day of examination. Candidates have to carry photo ID proof along with the SSC CGL 2018 admit card or else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. For any discrepancies in the admit card, candidates should contact the regional offices of SSC for correction. SSC releases separate admit cards for each stage of examination – Tier 1, 2, 3 and 4. The Commission first releases SSC CGL admit card 2018 for Tier 1 examination. The Tier 1 examination of SSC CGL 2018 is scheduled to be conducted from July 25 to August 20, 2018. Those qualifying the Tier 1 examination will be issued admit card for Tier 2 exam. SSC CGL Tier 2 exam will be conducted from November 27 to 30, 2018. Admit card for Tier 3 will be issued to candidates qualifying the Tier 2 exam. SSC CGL 2018 admit card for Tier 4 is issued for appearing in Skill test which is conducted for certain posts only.

How to download SSC CGL admit card 2018?


SSC CGL 2018 admit card will be available on the official site –  The step-wise procedure to download the admit card for different phases is given below.

  • Step 1: Click on the region-wise links given below.

  • Step 2: Enter login credentials like registration number/roll number/name and date of birth. The image of the login page is given below.

  • Step 3: Click on ‘Submit’ button to enter details.

  • Step 4: SSC CGL admit card will appear on the screen. The admit card will appear as the one given below.

What if a candidate did not receive their SSC CGL 2018 Admit Card?


The Commission uploads the admit card two weeks prior the examination on the official website. If any candidate is unable to download SSC CGL admit card 2018 one week before the exam should contact the regional/sub-regional offices of SSC with proof of having submitted their application.

Do I need to paste photograph in the admit card?

Yes, candidates have to paste their photograph after downloading  SSC CGL admit card. The photograph should be same as uploaded during registration

What if I do not have roll number?

Candidates who do not know their roll number can download the same by entering name, father’s name and date of birth.

SSC CGL 2018 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Candidates should not carry bags, mobile phones, watches, books, pens, paper chits and magazines.

  • Electronic gadgets like bluetooth devices, head phones, pen/buttonhole cameras, scanner, calculator, storage devices etc are not allowed inside the examination hall.

  • Candidates should not wear charms, veil, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose-pin, chains, necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, hair pin, hair band, clothes with full sleeves or big buttons, etc.

  • Candidates should wear chappal, flotter, instead of shoes as the candidates would be asked to remove shoes by the frisking staff.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern

  • SSC CGL examination is conducted in four tiers. According to SSC CGL 2018 exam pattern, Tier 1 and 2 will be conducted in Computer Based mode whereas Tier 3 in Pen and Paper mode.
  • Tier 4 is Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test/Document verification.
  • The Tier 1 examination comprises four subjects - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude  and English Comprehension.
  • The total marks of the exam is 200 and time duration is 60 minutes. The Tier II consists of four papers.
  • The Paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory for all posts.
  • Paper 3 will be for those candidates who applied for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) while Paper 4 is for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
  • Tier 3 is a descriptive test to be conducted in English and Hindi.
