SSC CGL  Admit Card 2018 - Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release SSC CGL admit card of Tier 1 anytime soon. The commission on September 25 has activated the link to check roll number and status of application for SSC CGL 2018 exam. SSC CGL admit card 2018 will be available online region-wise. Candidates can access their admit card by entering  registration number/roll number/name and date of birth. No admit card will be sent to candidates by post. Candidates will be able to download their SSC CGL 2018 admit card till their scheduled date of Computer Based Test (CBT). 

SSC CGL admit card/hall ticket will carry information  like candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, date, time, venue of exam and exam day guidelines. Candidates are advised to check the details printed on SSC CGL admit card 2018 carefully. In case of any error in details should inform the examination officials of SSC for correction. On the exam day, candidates will have to carry at least one photo-identity proof along with two passport-sized photographs to the examination centre for verification process. SSC CGL admit card 2018 of Tier 1 will be issued to candidates who have submitted their application form before the last date. The Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL is likely to be conducted in October 2018. SSC CGL Admit Card 2018 - Tier 1

The Tier 1 exam admit card will be released for all candidates whose applications have been accepted by the examination authority. SSC CGL 2018 admit card for Tier 1 will be made available region-wise – Eastern region, Kerala Karnataka region, Southern region, North-Eastern region, Western region, Madhya Pradesh region, Central region, North Western Region and northern region. Candidates have to download their  admit card as per the regions they have applied. SSC CGL admit card 2018 will be made available separately for each region and on different dates.

SSC CGL Admit Card 2018 - Tier 2

The SSC CGL 2018 admit card for Tier 2 exam will be issued to candidates qualifying the Tier 1 by securing the required SSC CGL cutoff 2018. The Tier 2 comprises four papers – Paper I, II, III and IV. The paper I and II is common for all the posts. Paper III is for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) while Paper IV is for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer posts. Each paper carries 200 marks.

SSC CGL Admit Card 2018 - Tier 3

SSC CGL 2018 admit card of Tier 3 will be released for candidates selected on the basis of their marks in Tier 1 and 2. Tier 3 is a descriptive test conducted for 100 marks.

SSC CGL Admit Card 2018 - Tier 4

SSC CGL 2018 admit card for Tier 4 exam is issued to candidates appearing in Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). DEST is conducted for the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise & Income Tax) while CPT is for the posts of Assistant Section Officer of CSS, Assistant Section Officer (MEA), Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Assistant (GSI) in the Ministry of Mines.

Candidates have to carry any one of the following ID proofs in original along with SSC CGL admit card 2018. Along with ID, candidates are also required to carry passport sized photograph.

Error in SSC CGL Admit Card 2018: What steps to take?

Candidates should check the details printed in the SSC CGL 2018 admit card. In case there is any discrepancies such spelling mistake in name, date of birth, photograph, signature etc, candidates should immediately contact the regional offices.

What if a candidate did not receive SSC CGL 2018 Admit Card?

The Commission uploads the admit card two weeks prior the examination on the official website. If any candidate is unable to download SSC CGL admit card 2018 one week before the exam should contact the regional/sub-regional offices of SSC with proof of having submitted their application.

How to check SSC CGL Roll Number and Application Status?

Candidates who have applied for SSC CGL 2018 can check their roll number and application status online. To login, candidates have to enter name/registration number and date of birth.

A. Yes, candidates have to paste their photograph after downloading SSC CGL admit card. The photograph should be same as uploaded during registration

Q. What if I do not have roll number?

A. Candidates who do not know their roll number can download the same by entering name, father’s name and date of birth.

SSC CGL 2018 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Candidates should not carry bags, mobile phones, watches, books, pens, paper chits and magazines.

  • Electronic gadgets like bluetooth devices, headphones, pen/buttonhole cameras, scanner, calculator, storage devices etc are not allowed inside the examination hall.

  • Candidates should not wear charms, veil, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose-pin, chains, necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, hair pin, hair band, clothes with full sleeves or big buttons, etc.

  • Candidates should wear chappal, flotter, instead of shoes as the candidates would be asked to remove shoes by the frisking staff.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern

The Tier 1 exam as per SSC CGL 2018 exam pattern consists of four subjects - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Candidates have to attempt 100 questions within 60 minutes. Total marks allotted for the exam is 200. The Tier II comprises four papers. Paper I and II is common for all posts while Paper III and IV is for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer posts respectively. SSC CGL Tier III is a descriptive test of 100 marks. Tier IV is Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test/Document verification conducted for specific posts only.
