A MCQ-based exam will be conducted for each subject. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. The exam pattern for CSIR UGC NET MCQ-based paper will be as given below:-
1. The MCQ test paper of each subject will carry a maximum of 200 marks.
2. The exam will be for a duration of three hours.
3. The question paper will be divided in three parts:
Part 'A' will be common to all subjects.
Part 'B' will have subject-related MCQs.
Part 'C' will have analytical questions to test application of the scientific concepts.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will release CSIR UGC NET question paper 2020 for June session at its official website after the exam has been conducted. The question papers of CSIR UGC NET 2020 will be released for all the five subjects - Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

CSIR NET Question Papers - General Sciences - Part A (Common)
The exam-conducting authority will release the admit card of CSIR NET 2020 in online mode on the official website of CSIR after May 15. Candidates can download their CSIR NET admit card 2020 by logging using their application number and password/date of birth. It is mandatory to bring a print-out of admit card to the examination centre on exam day. The candidate will not be permitted to take the exam without the admit card.
The major difference between UGC NET and CSIR NET is that UGC NET Exam is conducted for almost all subjects of various streams while CSIR NETexam is held only for only the science stream subjects.
CSIR-UGC Test is conducted for determining eligibility for appointment as Lecturer (LS) and for determining the eligibility of Indian Nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in the areas of Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences.
There is no limit on maximum numbers of attempts for taking CSIR NET but there is an age limit of maximum 28 years for JRF(NET) and 5 years relaxation for reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC.

As per the eligibility criteria for CSIR UGC NET the candidate must have completed his or her graduation in in B.Pharma or BE or B. Tech or MSc or MBBS or Integrated BS-MS or any other science degree with at least 55% marks. Since you have a graduate degree in B.Pharma you are eligible to appear for the exam.
Yes you can do. You can apply for CSIR NET exam with your post graduation eligibility. They don't look about the cross majors. It is one of the toughest exams in India and at the same time best exam which can give you a chance to get a lecturer job in colleges and Junior research fellow position in research institutes and colleges with a stipend of 31000 with HRA.
