CDS Cutoff 2020- Leading Coaching Institute will release unofficial CDS 2020 cut off after the conclusion of exam on February 2 in online mode. The cut off of CDS 2020 will be released separately category wise. Though Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release official CDS cutoff 2020 after completion of selection process. CDS 2020 Cut off is the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the examination authority that candidates need to secure to become eligible for next round of selection process. As per the cut off CDS 2020 candidates scoring a minimum of 20% in each subject will be declared qualified in the written exam and called for an SSB Interview. UPSC releases CDS cutoff 2020 separately for Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Officer’s Training Academy. CDS 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode across India. The calculation marks for written exam of CDS 2020 Cutoff for IMA, INA and IFA are done out of 300 while for OTA (Men & Women) it is calculated out of 200 marks. UPSC CDS cutoff is released first for the written exam followed by SSB Interview. CDS 2020 Cutoff for final selection will be prepared on the basis of the combined score of written exam and SSB Interview. Based on the final CDS cut off score, UPSC will release all India merit list. Shortlisted candidates as per final merit list will be called for training in a respective academy based on their choice/preference.

Types of CDS cutoff

Exam conducting authorities releases two types of the cutoff of CDS 2020.

1- CDS written cutoff

2- Final CDS cutoff

1- CDS written cutoff

Applicants should note that the cutoff score of CDS written exam is the qualifying marks secured by candidates to become eligible for Services Selection Board (SSB). CDS Cutoff 2020 for written test is the aggregate marks scored by last qualified candidates as per their category. As per the analysis of CDS cutoff candidates have to score minimum of 20 percent in each subject in written exam to be eligible for CDS 2020. It is to be noted that CDS 2020 Cutoff for written test for IMA, INA and IFA is calculated out of the total score of 300. The cutoff score for OTA (Men & Women) is calculated out of 200.

2- Final CDS cutoff

Candidates who qualify the written exam will be eligible to appear for SSB interview process. UPSC will declare the final CDS cut off after the declaration of final result.

Is there any negative marking in CDS 2020 exam?

Yes, there is negative marking in CDS written exam. Each question of CDS exam carries 4 options out of which only 1 option is correct. Candidates who choose the wrong answer will be deducted 0.33 marks for each incorrect answer. However, if a question is left unanswered there will be no negative marking.

What is SSB Interview in CDS?

Exam conducting authority recruits the candidates for CDS SSB interview stage On the basis of CDS cut off 2020 marks. SSB interview is two stage selection process. Stage 1 comprises Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and picture perception. Only those candidates who qualify at stage 1 will be admitted to the stage 2 whereas the remaining will have to return. Stage 2 comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference which is conducted for four days.

CDS Cutoff for Final Selection

The final selection marks are the marks of last recommended candidate according to the post. After adding the marks of written as well as final selection marks the all India merit list is prepared for admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (IFA) and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA). The final CDS cut off 2019 will be released in December.

CDS Answer Key 2020

Applicants can note that the official answer key CDS 2020 for written exam will be released after the final recruitment of the exam. Though some coaching institutes release the answer key after the exam. With the help of CDS 2020 answer key candidates can check to calculate the number of marks obtained by then in the exam. CDS answer key consist of all the correct answer of the questions asked in the exam.

CDS Result 2020

UPSC will announced the result of the CDS 2020 for written exam two month after commencement of exam. Candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in written exam to be eligible for the next round of selection process. Hi,

According to CDS eligibility criteria 2020 , candidates applying for the exam must be 20 to 24 years. Candidates who have passed graduation or appearing for their final year are eligible to apply for CDS exam provided they submit a relevant certificate of passing the examination at the time of commencement of course.

So , Yes,You are Eligible! as your Age  is 23 years old currently .

Hi,

Hope you are doing great.

In CDS exam ,girls can only go for OTA(officers training academy) and the exam pattern is slightly different as per other academies.

It has only two papers that of general knowledge and general English.

For general knowledge you should be well prepared about current affairs and read 6-12 class ncert books thoroughly for history , geography , science etc. You can also go for internet for general knowledge along with also focus on basic GK like first in the world , famous books and authors etc.

For English, practice is the key to success. Have a good book of objective English like Arihant and read newspaper daily and improve you vocabulary.

Solve previous years questions as well.

For AFCAT:

It includes the same GK and English followed by numerical ability and reasoning questions as well.

You should again go for basics in mathematics upto class 12 and try to learn more tricks and shortcuts and for reasoning , follow a good book of reasoning ability and be more focused and concentrated while solving these questions.

Hello,

Girl candidates who want to join IAF have 2 possible ways. AFCAT and non AFCAT entry. AFCAT is an entrance exam conducted twice a year. If you clear this exam, then you will be called for SSB Interview and then you can choose your own branches.

There are various kinds branch in IAF(Indian air force) like technical, flying and ground. each  branch has its own Eligibility and qualification criteria... As you haven't mentioned any kind of branch, let me tell you about these core branches

Flying branch: age should be in between 19 to 23.You should be a graduate in any stream with aggregate of 60% marks and you should have studied Maths and Physics in your 12th and have passed with 60% marks. Or BE or B.Tech with 60% marks is also accepted.

Technical branch: There are 2 types of technical services under technical branch. Both of them need the same criteria of 18-28yeats.First one is Aeronautical Engineer which is mechanical service. Second one is Aeronautical Engineer which is electrical service.

Ground duty branch: There are 3 types of services in Ground duty branches.

Administration and Logistics: Age should be between 20-23 years for Graduates. You should be a Graduate or a Post Graduate in any discipline with atleast 60% marks.

Education: Age should be  20-25 years for Post Graduates and you should be a Post Graduate in any stream with 50% marks.

Accounts:  20-27 for M.Ed, Ph. D, CA, ICWA. Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Commerce. If you have Bachelor's degree then you should have 60% marks and if you have PG degree, then you should have 60% marks.

Through Non AFCAT entry, there are CDSE and FTS. For meteorology branch, age should be between 20-25 years and for Phd students, age should be 27 years. Students should have post graduate degree in any science stream.

There is also NCC Special Entry Indian Air Force. Age should be 20-24 years. You should be a graduate in any stream with aggregate of 60% marks and you should have studied Maths and Physics in your 12th and have passed with 60% marks. Or BE or B.Tech with 60% marks is also accepted
