About APSC CCE 2019
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for recruitment to various posts or services like Assam Civil Service (Junior Grade), Assam Land and Revenue Service (Junior Grade), Assam Police Service (Jr.Grade), Labour Inspector, Superintendent of Excise, Inspector of Taxes, Inspector of Excise etc. APSC selection process involves two stages – Preliminary and Mains examination. Further, the mains examination is divided into two parts – written exam and interview.

APSC CCE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria prescribed for APSC examination is given below.

Age | Applicants should be between 21 to 38 years. Relaxation in age will be provided to reserved category candidates. Age limit is calculated based on the matriculation/HSLC admit card/certificate issued by recognised board/council |

APSC CCE Preliminary Exam Application Details
The application form of APSC for the preliminary exam can be filled in online mode. Candidates are required to download the application and send the filled in application form along with required documents to the commission’s office. Application fees for the preliminary exam can be paid offline through treasury challan which is Rs 250 for general category and Rs 150 for SC/ST/MOBC/OBC categories, respectively. BPL/PWD candidates are not required to pay any examination fees. In APSC application form of preliminary exam, candidates have to fill details like name of the bank, number & date of treasury receipt, Centre, Educational Qualification, Date of Birth, Age, Name, Father’s name, mother’s name, address etc. Along with the application form, candidates will be required to submit documents like Age- proof certificate, Pass certificate of graduation, Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC, ID Card/Certificate for PWD candidates, BPL certificate (for BPL candidates).
APSC CCE Main Exam Application Details
Candidates qualifying the preliminary examination are required to fill separate APSC application form for the mains exam. The examination fees for General category is Rs 300 while it is Rs 150 for SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC which should be paid through treasury receipt. APSC application form of mains exam is released after the declaration of result of the preliminary exam.

APSC CCE 2019 Exam Pattern
APSC CCE Preliminary Exam Exam Pattern
As per APSC Exam Pattern, the preliminary exam is conducted offline. Candidates are given OMR sheet for answering the questions. The test consists of two papers of objective type questions. Each paper of APSC preliminary examination is held for two hours and carried 200 marks. There are a total of 28 optional subjects in preliminary examination, out of which candidates are required to select one. The structure of APSC exam pattern of preliminary examination is given below.

APSC CCE Main Exam Exam Pattern
The main examination consists of written exam and interview test. The written examination as per APSC exam pattern consists of General English, General Studies, Optional Subject 1 and Optional Subject 2. The optional subjects carries 2 papers each. Total marks allotted for the mains exam is 1400. Each paper is held for 3 hours. The questions of the mains examination is of conventional type. Candidates can choose any two subjects from the list of optional subjects. The interview of APSC mains exam carries 200 marks. The structure of APSC exam pattern of mains exam is given below.

APSC admit card of the preliminary exam is issued to all candidates who will register for the exam within the prescribed dates of application.
APSC CCE Main Exam Admit Card
APSC admit card for mains exam is issued to candidates selected based on their performance in the preliminary exam.

The answer key of APSC contains the correct answers to questions asked in the exam. APSC releases APSC answer key of preliminary examination a few days after the exam. The answer key will be available separately for general studies paper and optional subjects. APSC answer key of general studies will be available set-wise- A, B, C, D in PDF format. Using the answer key, candidates are able to calculate their probable score based on the number of correct answers.
APSC CCE Preliminary Exam Result
APSC Result is announced by APSC separately for Preliminary, Mains and Final in online mode. The result PDF file contains the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. On the basis of APSC result of preliminary examination, candidates are selected for the mains exam. The preliminary is conducted only to shortlist candidates for the mains exam. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination is not considered for the final merit list. Candidates 11 to 12 times the number of vacancies are selected for the mains examination.
APSC CCE Main Exam Result
The result of APSC mains written examination is released in online mode. Based on the results of the mains examination, candidates are called for interview. Candidates twice the number of vacancies are called for interview. There are no qualifying marks for interview. The marks obtained by candidates in the interview is considered for the prepartion of final merit list. The final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in interview and mains written exam. Allotment of services is done as per the candidate’s rank in the merit list and preferences of posts.
