CBT 1 is a screening test. The level of questions is equivalent to academic standards specified for the posts. The marks will be normalized and this normalized score will be used for shortlisting candidates for CBT 2.

CBT 2 is different for each post. 7th CPC Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will have separate Stage 2 CBT with the graded difficulty level. However, all posts within the same level of 7th CPC will have the same Stage 2 CBT. Aspirants may be eligible for more than one level of 7th CPC posts as per their academic qualifications. In such cases, they will have to give common Stage 1 CBT and respective Stage 2 CBT for each level of 7th CPC. Aspirant final selection for Stage 2 CBT will be based on:

RRB NTPC 2021 Exam Stage 3 - Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
The CBAT is conducted only for those candidates who have opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master posts. To qualify for the CBAT, aspirants need to obtain a minimum T-score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries. No relaxation is given to reserved category candidates in this test and all need to score the same or above marks.

Exam Pattern of RRB NTPC 2021 - Stage 3 Marking Scheme
The questions in CBAT will be in English and Hindi medium only.
There is no negative marking in CBAT.
The SM/TA merit list will be prepared for those aspirants who qualify in CBAT and 70% weightage will be given for the marks obtained in the Stage 2 CBT and 30% weightage for the marks secured in CBAT.

RRB NTPC 2021 Exam Stage 3: Typing Skill Test (TST)
The typing test is qualifying in nature and is conducted for Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper.
Number of candidates shortlisted for Typing Skill Test = 8 times the number of vacancies
Details related to the typing test of RRB NTPC
Candidates must be able to type 30 WPM for English or 25 WPM for Hindi on Personal Computer only.
No use of editing tools and spell check facility will be allowed.
Note: Exemption in Typing Skill Test for aspirants who are permanently disabled due to Blindness/Low Vision, Cerebral Palsy & LocoMotor Disability with not less than 40% permanent disability. For these candidates, the merit will be drawn only based on performance in CBT 2.
RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2021 - Stage 4 Document Verification/Medical
After qualifying the stage 2 CBT and CBAT/TST, aspirants will be called for the final stage of the RRB NTPC selection process which is the Document Verification (DV). The number of candidates called for DV will be equal to the number of vacancies and in addition to it, 50% more candidates will also be invited for the same to cover up the shortfall of recommended candidates. If in case, two or more candidates score the same marks, a tie-breaker method will opt. As per the tiebreaker, the candidate who is older in age as compared to the other one will be taken for final selection.
Selected candidates will have to go through medical tests and will have to showcase all their original documents like academic-related, caste-related etc.

You need to paste your colored photograph on your ntpc examination hall ticket before entering into the examination hall. The authorities will only check your hall ticket and will not tell you to paste your photograph in front of them. Along with your hall ticket you need to carry one valid photo ID proof for the verification purposes along with two passport size photographs.

As you have applied for rrb ntpc 2019 from ews section, then you have to produce an ews certificate. Because an ews certificate is valid for 1 year. Also, note that, even if you haven't made ews certificate, then you can be in great danger. So it is necessary with immediate effect to make am ews certificate and have to produce before them. Make the certificate as soon as possible. Otherwise your candidature can be canceled. And then you cannot appear for rrb ntpc exam ever.
i used my father name-Krishna Rao(absence of surname) in rrb ntpc online registration, but in my 10th class certificate my father name-Dodla Krishna Rao (used surname Dodla)...is any problem during document verification?
There will not me a problem of of name defect during your counselling and registration process, as documents such as the Aadhar card, or birth certificate will clearly signify your father's name.
There are less chances that the officials will question upon your father details, and if they do you can provide them the documents with correct information.

You can carry different Photo ID card. They accept Voter ID/Aadhaar Card /Printout of e-Aadhaar /Driving License/PAN Card/Passport/Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a govt. employee/College/university Photo ID card you can carry any one of them.
