RRB NTPC Marking Scheme
RRB NTPC 2024 marking scheme varies over different stages. The RRB NTPC 2024 marking scheme is as follows.
RRB NTPC CBT 1, one mark will be given for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking for an incorrect answer.
For RRB NTPC CBT 2, one mark will be awarded for the correct answer and 1/3rd mark will be reduced for the wrong answer.
In both papers, no marks will be awarded or deducted in case they are not attempted.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024 - CBT 1
Aspirants who successfully submit the RRB NTPC application form 2024, are eligible to appear in the exam. The RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will be conducted in computer-based online mode. The questions in the RRB NTPC tier 1 are based on subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness.
In the RRB NTPC CBT 1, there will be a penalty for wrong answers attempted by the candidate. No marks will be deducted if the question is left blank or unattempted.
The time duration for PWD candidates is 120 Minutes. RRB NTPC Tier 1 is a screening test and the standard of questions is generally in conformity with the educational standards prescribed for the posts.
The total number of candidates shortlisted will be 20 times the community-wise vacancies. RRB will use the normalization method to calculate the score and will be used for shortlisting candidates for CBT 2 as per their merit. RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024 - CBT 2
Candidates who qualify in CBT 1 are eligible to appear in CBT 2. As per the exam pattern of RRB NTPC 2024, CBT 2 will also be conducted in computer-based online mode, however, the difficulty level will be slightly higher as compared to CBT 1. In the RRB NTPC CBT 2, the exam duration for PWD candidates is 120 minutes and there will be a negative marking of 1/3. The level of questions will be different for the different levels of posts. RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024 - Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
The RRB NTPC CBAT is the third stage in the recruitment process. As per the RRB NTPC 2024 exam pattern, only candidates who have opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master will have to appear in the CBAT. The qualifying marks in the RRB NTPC CBAT is a minimum T-Score of 42 marks to qualify.
This is applicable to all candidates irrespective of community or category and no relaxation will be given to aspirants in the minimum T- Score. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT. The CBAT shall have question-and-answer options only in English and Hindi. There is no negative marking. The final merit list will be drawn from amongst the candidates qualifying in the CBAT, with 70% weightage given for marks obtained by candidates in the CBT 2 and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in the CBAT.
RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024 - Typing Skill Test (TST)
The typing test is also part of the stage 3 of the RRB NTPC. The typing test is for aspirants who apply for all other posts other than the Traffic Assistant and Station Master. The typing test is qualifying in nature and candidates eight times the total number of vacancies will be called for the typing test. As per the exam pattern of RRB NTPC 2024, candidates will have to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi without editing tools and a spell check facility to qualify.
RRB NTPC 2024 Exam Pattern - Document Verification (DV)
As per the RRB NTPC exam pattern, this is the last stage of the recruitment process. Based on the aspirant's performance in CBT 2 and CBAT/TST (as applicable), candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for document verification as per their merit. In the DV, they will have to produce all their documents which will be verified, These documents include the educational qualifications, reservation certificates (as applicable), EWS certificate (as applicable) etc.
Any forgery in the certificates during the DV will lead to the debarment of the aspirant and might also attract strong legal action against them. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the medical test, post which they will be recruited on the vacant posts.
RRB NTPC Syllabus 2024
Apart from the RRB NTPC exam pattern, aspirants must also check the syllabus in order to prepare for the exam efficiently. The Railway Recruitment Board prescribes the syllabus of 2024 RRB NTPC in the official notification.
The syllabus is prescribed for all the stages of the i.e. CBT 1, 2 and CBAT. The syllabus will help candidates understand the type of questions asked in the exam, subjects and topics to study and more. With the help of the syllabus, aspirants will be able to check the important chapters and topics asked in the exam.
RRB NTPC Question Papers 2024
The Railway Recruitment Board will release the RRB NTPC question papers after the exam is conducted. The question papers will be released in PDF format on the RRB NTPC official website. RRB NTPC Answer Key 2024
RRBs will release the RRB NTPC 2024 Answer key in two phases, one being the provisional answer key and one being the final answer key. After the release of the provisional answer key aspirants can raise objections against any question they think is incorrect by paying a nominal fee, which is returned if aspirants' objections are found to be valid. No its not okay to upload BC certificate instead of OBC certificate as rrb NTPC clearly defines the rules of obc certificate which states that the certificate must be issued by an authorized authority, such as a District Magistrate, Collector, Deputy Commissioner, or Revenue Officer and it must be under non creamy layer.
You should obtain certificate of obc non creamy layer then apply to rrb NTPC to avail the benefit of reservation quota.
Moreover,the difference between certificate is that Other Backward Classes certificate is issued to communities listed as OBC by the Indian government and BC are only recognised by government of india which is not accepted by many exa
