CTET Cut Off 2019 - Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the result of CTET 2019 on July 30. All those candidates who have secured marks equal to or more than the CTET cut off scores have qualified in test. The exam authority has released the CTET cut off 2019 in the form of qualifying marks. CTET 2019 cut off is released for both the papers - paper I and II, category wise to shortlist the candidates for the merit list. As per the qualifying cut off of CTET, candidates securing 60% marks have only pass the test. However, candidates belonging to the reserved category have been provided certain relaxation in the qualifying marks. All those candidates who have scored CTET cut off 2019 have qualified and will now be issued the eligibility certificate. Candidates issued with the eligibility certificate will only be considered CTET qualified.

CTET 2019 exam was conducted on July 7, 2019. The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as Teachers in the schools run by Central Government. CTET 2019 exam will be conducted for two papers - paper I and II for which the candidates will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes each. Each paper will be conducted for a total of 150 marks. In order to determine the cut of CTET, the examination authority takes the following factors into consideration:
Number of candidates appearing for the test
Difficulty level of the exam
Total number of vacancies
The examination authority has determined the qualifying marks for the candidates to shortlist the deserving candidates. All those candidates who score 60% marks in the CTET exam will be considered TET qualified. Since CTET exam is conducted for a total of 150 marks, all those who score more than or equal to 90 marks will be considered qualified and will be awarded the eligibility certificate. However, candidate belonging to the reserved category might get certain relaxation in the qualifying percentage.

CTET qualifying certificate is a document which is given to the candidates as a proof that he/she has qualified the exam or not. Qualifying CTET means that the candidate has qualified the criteria to be appointment as teachers.
The eligibility certificate of CTET is valid for seven years from the date of result announcement for all categories. Candidates who get the eligibility certificate of CTET can apply for the post of teachers in any Central Government run school till seven years from the date of result announcement.
There are no such restrictions on the number of times a candidate can appear for CTET exam. Along with this, candidates who have qualified the CTET exam earlier can appear for the test again in order to improve their scores.
The result of CTET 2019 is expected to be released in September/October. CTET result 2019 will be released in online mode wherein candidates will be able to download their result by entering their login credentials. The result of CTET will be announced for both paper I and II. Only those candidates will be considered qualified who will secure the qualifying marks along with the minimum cut off of CTET 2019.
Candidates who qualify CTET and get the eligibility certificate are eligible to apply in the following places until seven years of the declaration of CTET result.
Q. If I secure the minimum cut off of CTET 2019, will I be allotted School by the examination authority?
Ans. You will be definitely considered qualified if you secure the CTET 2019 cut off marks and get the eligibility certificate but the allotment of the schools will not be done by the conducting authority. You may apply in various schools run by Central Government. However, candidates will get preference as per the CTET marks scored by them.
Q. Will I qualify if I score only the qualifying marks and fail to secure the minimum CTET cut off score by 2 - 3%?
Ans. No, you will not be considered qualified in this case. To qualify for the eligibility certificate, you must score not only the qualifying marks but also the CTET 2019 cut off.
Q. How many candidates qualified in the previous year on the basis of cut off of CTET 2019 ?
Ans. On the basis of CTET cut off, there were a total of 10,73,545 candidates who qualified in paper I while there were 8,78,425 candidates who qualified in paper II.
