JPSC Eligibility Criteria 2020

The JPSC eligibility criteria consists of the academic qualification and age limit for candidates who wish to apply for the exam. As per the age limit the maximum age is 35 years for General category candidates while the minimum age depends upon the post which candidates want to apply for. For instance, it is 20 years for Jharkhand Police Service, 21 years for Jharkhand Financial Service, Jharkhand Administrative Service, etc. To know the details eligibility criteria of JPSC, refer to the table below;

The minimum age limit criteria of JPSC is 21 years while the maximum age criteria are 35 years. However, there will be age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved category. JPSC Application Form 2020

The application form of JPSC will be released in online mode and candidates will have to fill the form in online mode only. While filling the application form candidates will have to enter their personal details like name, father's name, DOB, etc apart from this details they will also have to upload their academic qualifications and pay the application fee in online mode as well.

JPSC Admit Card 2020

Candidates who successfully apply for JPSC will be issued the admit card in online mode. Candidates will have to carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre on the exam day. Those who will fail to carry the admit card along with the ID proof will not be able to appear for the exam in any circumstances. The admit card will have all the important details related to the exam like - name of the candidate, roll number, exam centre details, the address, the reporting time of the exam and exam day guidelines.

JPSC Exam Pattern 2020

As per the exam pattern of JPSC 2020, there will be two papers in prelims and 6 papers in mains exam. JPSC 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode. The type of questions will be objective type in preliminary while it will be descriptive type in the mains exam. There will be no negative marking in the exam. The preliminary exam will consist of 400 marks and will be of 2 hours while the mains will be of 1050 marks and there will be 6 papers in it. The third stage of the exam, personality test/Interview round will be of 100 marks.

The JPSC syllabus is a vast one and candidates appearing for the exam will have to have a strong command on History, Geography, Economics, Science and Technology, National and International current events and especially Jharkhand state-specific questions (General Awareness, History, Society, Culture, and Heritage).

JPSC will release the question papers of the exam after the recruitment is over. The question paper will be released in online mode on the official website.
