This is the first step in filling SBI Clerk application form. Candidates must enter their name, email ID, date of birth and phone number. After completing the registration process, a provisional registration number and password is generated which is sent to the candidates through SMS and email.

Step 2 - Uploading of Signature and Photograph

In this step of SBI Clerk application form, candidates must upload their photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications. Separate links have been provided to upload a photograph and signature in the SBI Clerk application form 2020.

  • Photograph must be recent coloured with a white background, having dimensions of 200 x 230 pixels in a file size of 20 kb–50 kb. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but must not cover your face.

  • Signature must be in black ink on a white paper in a file size of 10 -20 KB with dimensions 140 x 60 pixels. Signature should not be in capitals.

Step 3 - Filling up of Basic Details

SBI Clerk Application Form 2020- Important Instructions

  • Candidates can save the data in the application form of SBI Clerk 2020 anytime while filling the details.

  • A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system after saving.

  • The facility of using the provisional registration number and password to login and fill the details will be available only three times.

  • On successful submission of the SBI Clerk application form 2020, an e-receipt and the filled application form with fee details will be generated. This must be downloaded and printed for record.

  • SBI will only accept one application form. If candidates have filled more than one application form, the last valid (completed) application will be retained.

  • Fee paid for multiple applications will be forfeited and not refunded.

  • Only one application form will be valid and needed for both prelims and mains.

Who cannot fill SBI Clerk 2020 Application Form?

In addition to candidates who do not fulfil the specified eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk, candidates who will not be eligible to fill the application form are

  • Candidates who are currently working in SBI in the Clerical or Officer cadre

  • Also candidates who were earlier employed in State Bank of India and resigned from the Bank while in clerical or officer cadre

  • Candidates with record of default in repayment of loans/ credit card dues or having adverse report of CIBIL or other agencies

Hello sir
The cut off of 2019 SBI clerk for preliminary examination was 61.25 that was for UR, ex servicemen's data is not available for 2019, for 2018  the state cut off for ex servicemen's in preliminary exam was 32.25 and in mains examination was 60.25 for Tamil Nadu . I will try to get 2019 data from other sources for ex servicemen's.

In order to clear any exam, the most important part is clearing the current affairs apart. So, revise as much current affairs as you can.

Also, at this point of time you should start giving mock tests or previous year's appears. This will help in trying to figure out the places where you lack.

Time management is the key in competitive exams so make sure to start giving previous year's test papers. Don't think about whether or not you know the topics or have revised. Everything will be good, once you strt giving test.

You should appear for MAT and MAH CET. Just get some idea about what kind of questions are asked. If you score really well you can get a decent college which can build your career. But at the same time if you're thinking about SBI clerk then you must keep it also as an option. If you get through the interview you can definitely join and prepare for CAT alongside. It's always better to keep more options to choose from. There's not very much difference between the syllabus of SBI clerk and MAT/MAH CET. Only the banking awareness section of SBI is a little different but is easier to deal with. So you must appear for all the exams.

You can definitely appear for SBI PO examination even if you have got selected for the SBI Clerk exam. Not only this, you can appear for any other examination if you wish to. There is no such restrictions on it.
