SSC Stenographer Application Form 2019 – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the application form of SSC Stenographer on September 20, 2019. The last date of application and fee payment is October 18, 2019. To fill SSC Stenographer 2019 application form, candidates need to first register for the exam after which they will be able to fill the detailed application form, upload scanned images of photograph and signature and pay the examination fee. The examination fees which can be paid both online and offline is Rs. 100 for general and OBC categories. Women/SC/ST/PwD/ESM are exempted from fee payment. Before proceeding with one-time registration, candidates must keep the following details and documents ready.
Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrollment Number
Voter ID Card/PAN/Passport/Driving License/School/ College ID / Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private) in case candidates do not have Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrollment Number.
Admit Card of Class 10
Scanned photograph and signature
Scanned Left-hand Thumb Impression (LTI) if candidates do not provide Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrollment Number
Scanned Disability Certificate if candidates are suffering from any specific disability
The application form of SSC Stenographer is available at https://ssc.nic.in/. Applicants can fill SSC Stenographer application form in two parts. In Part 1, candidates need to register for the exam. In Part 2, candidates have to fill the detailed application form, upload scanned images of photograph and signature, and make the fee payment.
For one-time registration, candidates need to fill their basic details, additional details, contact details and photo, signature and LTI. The detailed steps of registration are explained below.
Candidates need to provide their Aadhaar Number, name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth etc twice in the application form.
Provide Aadhaar Number/ Aadhaar Enrollment Number/ Identity Card Number.
Candidates are also required to enter matriculation (10th Class) Examination Details like name of education board, roll number, year of passing.
Candidates need to enter their name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth as given in Matriculation certificate.
Candidates are also required to enter gender, educational qualification, and mobile number while registering.
On registration, candidates will be provided Registration ID and Password.
Candidates have to upload their recent photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Those who do not have Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrolment Number, need to upload the scanned impression of Left Hand Thumb.
Upon clicking the final submit button, different OTPs will be sent to candidates registered mobile number and email ID.
Applicants need to enter the respective OTPs to complete the Registration Process.
After submission of basic information, if the registration process is not completed within 7 days, the data will be deleted from the system.
The basic details part cannot be edited after the completion of the registration process.
Login with email ID and password to fill other details in the application form.
Information entered during One-Time Registration will be automatically filled and is non-editable.
Candidates need to give their preferences for exam centres.
Select Domicile State/ UT and District of Domicile.
Candidates need to enter their educational qualification
Candidates need to complete their application process by clicking ‘I Agree’ button.
Pay the required examination fees.
In the end, candidates should take a printout of SSC Stenographer application form.

The photograph, signature, and LTI should be in the following format.
Scanned color passport size photograph should be in JPEG format in between 20 KB to 50 KB.
Scanned signature should be in JPEG format in between 10 to 20 KB
Scanned LTI in JPEG format in between 10KB to 30 KB.
Fee – Rs 100 for general and OBC candidates. Women/SC/ST/PwD/ExSer candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Mode - SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card.
Payment status and application status can be checked by clicking on the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab under the candidate’s dashboard.
Editing of details can be done within the prescribed dates of application. Candidates cannot edit the details entered during one-time registration.
