How to fill SSC Stenographer application form 2018?
The application form of SSC Stenographer can be filled in two parts – Part A and Part B. Candidates can check below the steps to fill SSC Stenographer 2018 application form.
Part A: Registration
To apply successfully for SSC Stenographer 2018, candidates should start by registering for the exam. In this step, candidates will have to fill basic information such as name, date of birth, parents’ name, roll number of class 10 Board exam, gender then continue to upload their photograph and signature. Upon submitting the required details, candidates will receive registration ID and password on their registered mobile number. Registering for Staff Selection Commission is a one-time process and candidates who have already registered for any exam conducted by SSC before are not required to register again for SSC Stenographer. Part B: Filling of SSC Stenographer Application Form
After successfully registering, candidates can proceed to fill the online application using registration ID and password. The application form includes filling various details like education qualification, preference of post, choice of centre, etc.
Step 1: Filling of required details
In this section, candidates must provide all details asked while filling the application form. Applicants must fill information such as educational qualifications of applicants, posts candidates have applied under, etc.
Step 2: Selection of Exam Centre
Candidates can choose exam centres as per their preference while filing SSC Stenographer application form 2018. Candidates must be careful while selecting exam centres as a request for changes in the same will not be entertained by the Commission after submitting the application form.
Step 3: Payment of fee
Having selected exam centres, applicants can now choose the mode of payment. Candidates can pay the fee both online or offine. Applicants can pay their fee online through SBI net banking or using credit/debit card of any bank. To pay the fee offline, candidates need to take printout of challan generated online after completion of the application form and deposit the fee in the designated branch of State Bank of India.

Step 4: Signing of the declaration form
At the bottom of the application, the page candidate needs to agree to the declaration and then submit the form. Applicants can now print the application form and reserve it for future references.
How to edit SSC Stenographer Application Form 2018?
If candidates find discrepancies in the information provided by them during registration, they will be able to correct the same before moving forward to fill the application form. The Commission will allow applicants to edit information including name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender and roll number of class 10 only once after registration. However, other fields required during registration can be edited once before the commencement of exam provided the candidates have not submitted the application form. After the submission of SSC Stenographer 2018 application form, request for changes in the information provided during registration and filling of application form will not be entertained by Staff Selection Commission.
