SSC CHSL Exam pattern 2019 - Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC CHSL 2019 exam pattern in its official notification on December 12, 2019. The tier wise exam pattern of SSC CHSL 2019 will be released in pdf format in online mode. The SSC CHSL exam pattern 2019 provides details regarding the mode, medium, sections and time duration of the exam. According to official notification of SSC CHSL, the tier I exam will be conducted in online mode. Questions will be asked from four sections which includes English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. As per SSC CHSL exam pattern 2019 of Tier I candidates have to attempt 100 questions within 60 Minutes and total marks allotted to it is 200. The exam pattern of SSC CHSL 2019 Tier II stage is of descriptive in nature and it will be conducted offline. This is a descriptive type test that assess a candidate’s writing ability. This test carries a total 100 marks and it will be conducted for 1 hour. Tier III exam is skill test/typing test.

Candidates who score the minimum or more SSC CHSL cut off in prelims stage will be further shortlisted to appear for the mains stage of exam. The mains exam pattern of SSC CHSL is descriptive in nature and it includes two sections comprising Essay writing and Letter/Application writing. As per the exam pattern of SSC CHSL 2019, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. Negative marking is also applicable in SSC CHSL exam and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response given by the candidates. Hence, candidates should answer only those questions for which they know the answer.
Tier 3 is skill test/typing ability test conducted for Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDC. Candidates who qualify tier 1 and 2 exams of SSC CHSL will be called for tier 3 exam. For SSC CGL regarding Maths, RS Agarwal and Rakesh Yadav books are mostly preferred. If you need to have a strong hold on Maths, if you basic concepts aren't clear, then start with NCERT books and then proceed towards any of the above mentioned books. Also, keep your resources minimal, do not bombard yourself with too many books, you'll find it utterly confusing to deal with later on. Also, apart from these books, what matters in the case of Maths is practice, and SSC CGL repeats a lots of previous year paper, so do practice that, along with mock test and test series.
