SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2019

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2019 – The exam pattern of SSC CHSL provide details regarding the mode, medium, sections and time duration. SSC CHSL 2019 exam pattern will be released by Staff Selection Commission for Tier 1, 2 and 3. According to SSC CHSL, the tier 1 exam will be conducted in online mode. Questions will be asked from four sections including English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Candidates have to answer 100 questions within 60 Minutes. Tier 1 exam as per SSC CHSL exam pattern carries 200 marks. Tier 2 examination will be conducted offline. This is a descriptive type test that assess a candidate’s writing ability. The test carries total 100 marks and will be held for 1 hour. Tier 3 exam is skill test/typing test. Candidates can check SSC CHSL exam pattern 2019 to understand the overall structure of exam.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2019 - Tier 1


SSC CHSL Tier 1 comprises of four sections - English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. There are 100 questions asked in tier 1 exam. The number of questions asked form each sections are 25 which carries 50 marks. The total marks allocated to tier 1 is 200 and the duration of the exam is of 60 minutes. 0.50 marks is deducted for each incorrect answer. Tier 1 exam of SSC CHSL will be conducted in March, 2019.

SSC CHSL 2018 Exam Pattern -Tier 2


SSC CHSL Tier 2 is a descriptive test conducted for 1 hour in offline mode. The test is conducted for candidates who have qualified Tier 1 exam. SSC CHSL 2019 tier 2 exam is going to be held in July. Candidates are asked to write an essay and application/ letter on any current topic. This test carries 100 marks. Candidates can answer the paper in English or Hindi.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2019 - Tier 3


Tier 3 is skill test/typing ability test conducted for Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant LDC. SSC CHSL Tier 3 exam will be conducted in November/ December. Candidates who qualify tier 1 and 2 exam of SSC CHSL will be called for tier 3 exam. The final merit list of SSC CHSL is prepared for the candidates who qualify tier 4 exams adding the marks of tier 1 and 2. SSC CHSL exam pattern of tier 3 exam for different posts below.
