SSC Stenographer Result 2019 – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release result dates of SSC Stenographer. SSC Stenographer 2019 result for computer-based examination and skill test. Once SSC Stenographer 2019 result will be declared, candidates will be able to check their qualifying status in the result PDF. The result will display candidates category, roll number and name of qualified candidates. Based on the marks of CBT, candidates will be shortlisted category-wise to appear for Skill Test for the posts they have applied for. On the basis of candidates performance in the skill test, they will be selected for document verification. Only those candidates will be considered for selection who will qualify the document verification. Final merit list will be prepared based on candidates performance in CBT subjected to their qualifying the skill test and document verification. Allocation to the post of Stenographer Grade C and D in various Ministries/ Departments will be done as per candidates rank in the final merit list. The commission has yet not announced the exam dates of SSC Stenographer 2019.

**Note - The Result of SSC Stenographer 2018 computer-based examination has announced on April 15, 2019in login window. Candidates can check their result by entering registration number and password As many as 27,164 candidates have qualified for Skill test/DV. The commission will release the scorecard of SSC Stenographer for CBE on April 19, 2019. The computer-based examination (CBE) which was conducted from February 5 to 7, 2019. A total of 1,201 vacancies have been announced for SSC Stenographer 2018 out of which 505 is for Grade 'C' and 696 for Grade 'D'

The result PDF of SSC Stenographer will carry the following details.
The CBT of SSC Stenographer carries a total of 200 marks. The exam covers four sections - General Intelligence (Reasoning Questions), General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension. SSC Stenographer result 2019 of CBT will be declared for candidates securing the qualifying marks in the exam. The qualifying marks will be decided by SSC as per categories.
For each correct answer, candidates will be allotted one mark
For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Total marks of CBT exam= Number of correct answer x 1 – Number of incorrect answer x 0.25

Candidates securing qualifying marks in the computer-based exam will be called for skill test. The skill test is qualifying in nature. Candidates are required to secure the qualifying marks in this test to clear the exam. The qualifying marks of skill test will be decided based on the number of mistakes.
The marks of candidates will be released a few days after the declaration of SSC Stenographer 2019 result. The marks of both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be made available in PDF file. The scorecard will include the following details.

In case two or more candidates secure equal aggregate marks, tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another
1. Marks in the computer-based examination.
2. Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher in the merit list.
3. Alphabetical order of the first names of the candidate.
The cutoff of SSC Stenographer is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to score to get selected for the next round of selection process. SSC Stenographer cutoff will be released along with the result. Candidates securing equal to or more than cutoff in CBT as per their category will be selected for skill test.
