CTET Result 2025 - Qualifying Marks

Candidates must obtain marks equal to or higher than the minimum qualifying marks set by the exam conducting authority in order to pass the eligibility examination. In CTET result 2025, general category candidates who score 60 per cent will be considered eligible, while reserved category candidates who score 55 per cent will be considered qualified. No, you are not eligible for CTET because the eligibility criteria require at least 50% in 12th or Graduation along with the required teacher training qualifications (like B.Ed or D.El.Ed).

CTET Eligibility Criteria:

  1. For Paper 1 (Class 1-5) 50% in 12th + D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).

  2. For Paper 2 (Class 6-8) 50% in Graduation + B.Ed (Relaxation available).

Even though you have 61% in M.A. , CTET considers only 12th and Graduation marks , so you don’t qualify .

1. Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's degree with Hindi as a subject.
