CTET Result 2018: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare CTET 2018 result in December. The entrance test is scheduled to be conducted on December 9, 2018 for paper I and II across 92 cities in the country. Candidates can check their CTET result by entering their roll number in the login window. Eligible candidates who will secure 60% and above will be declared qualified in the Central Eligibility Test (CET) 2018.

The CTET 2018 result will have candidates’ name, roll number, total marks and subject wise marks secured in the exam. The Paper-I is for the candidates who intend to become a teacher for Classes I to V and Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. However, candidates who are planning to be a teacher for both levels will have to qualify in both the papers. 

All the qualified candidates can appear in various schools run by the central government, schools under the control of UT’s, private schools, schools owned and managed by the state government/local bodies and candidates following they qualify the interview. The validity of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of CTET 2018 result for all categories. How to check CTET result 2018?

The result of CTET will be made available online. Candidates can check their results will the following procedure is given below: 

Step 1 – Click on the link to be provided on this page (the link will be activated as soon as the authority releases the CTET result 2018)

Step 2 - Candidates will be redirected to the login window

Step 3 - Enter roll number in the space provided

Step 4 – The result will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Download a copy of the result sheet and preserve it for future reference.

CTET Result 2018 – OMR sheet evaluation process

 

The OMR answer sheets of the candidates will be evaluated with extreme care and repeatedly scrutinized to avoid any mistakes in the evaluation. Candidates should note that no request for re-checking, re-assessment, re-evaluation or scrutiny of OMR answer sheets will be entertained.

 

CTET Result 2018 – Qualifying marks

 

Last year, the qualifying mark of CTET 2018 is 60%. Candidates who will score equal to or more than the qualifying marks will be qualified in the exam. Candidates have to secure a minimum of 90 out of total 150 marks in the respective paper they are appearing.

School Management (Government, Local bodies, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to a person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.

Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

 

CTET Marksheet

 

The mark sheet of CTET will include the candidates roll number, candidates name, mother’s name, father’s name and category. In the CTET marksheet, there will also be subject name and marks obtained by the candidate.

 

CTET Duplicate Marksheet

 

In case of loss or damage of CTET certificate, candidates can apply for a duplicate certificate. A candidate can get a duplicate copy of CTET mark sheet / Eligibility certificate by paying the prescribed fees through Demand Draft in favor of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any nationalized bank, payable at Delhi.

CTET Result 2018 – Issue of certificates

 

The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued Marks Statement. The candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued Eligibility Certificate.

CTET Result 2018 – Validity Period of Certificate

 

The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the announcement of its result for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

CTET Cutoff 2018


CTET 2018 cut off is the minimum required marks to be obtained by the candidates to qualify for the exam. The cut off is released after the declaration of CTET Result. The qualifying marks for CTET is 60% and above. Candidates who will score more than or equal to the cutoff scores will be considered for issuance of the eligibility certificate.
