The conduction board will determine the UPTET eligibility criteria 2024 for primary and upper primary teachers in their official notification. Only candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility will be able to fill the UPTET application form 2024. So, aspirants are advised to check the UPTET eligibility requirements before start filling out the registration form. The eligibility criteria for UPTET 2024 include the age limit and educational qualifications.

UPTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teachers

Applicants must have any of the following UPTET educational qualifications to apply for the primary teacher posts.

• A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university and 2 years Diploma (D.Ed) from N.C.T.E/ Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

• A bachelor’s degree & 2 years BTC., C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)

• A bachelor’s degree & qualification in Special BTC Training

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years & BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh state.

• Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University (For Urdu Teacher) or Moallim-E-Urdu Degree before 11-08-1997

UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for Upper Primary Teachers

For Upper Primary Teacher level of the UPTET 2024, the candidate must have any of the following educational criteria.

• A graduation degree with B.T.C from a university recognized by UGC and NCTE.

• A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed/ B.Ed (special education from the rehabilitation council of India).

• 10+2 with at least 50% marks and any of the following four years' degree courses i.e. B.A.B.Ed. Or B.Sc.Ed. Or B.El.Ed.

• A graduation degree in any field with at least 45% marks along with B.Ed.

Prerequisites to Filling the UPTET Application Form 2024

Candidates are advised to keep all the important documents ready before filling the UPTET 2024 application form to avoid any hassle. Candidates can check the list of things or documents that need to be ready.

• Active mobile number

• Valid email ID

• Graduation and Post Graduation mark sheet

• 10th and 12th mark sheets

• A recent photograph of the applicant (It should be less than 20 KB in JPEG format)

How to Fill UPTET Application Form 2024

Aspirants can follow the below-mentioned step-by-step procedure to fill and submit the UPTET 2024 application form.

Step 1: UPTET 2024 Registration

• Visit the UPTET official website - updeled.gov.in.

• Click on the UPTET 2024 registration link available on the homepage.

• Enter the basic details in the online UPTET registration form 2024.

• After the completion of the UPTET 2024 registration form, the registration number will be sent to the candidates registered mobile phone number and one-time password (OTP) to email ID for verification.

• On the next page, enter the registration number and one-time password to verify and complete the registration process.

• Use the UPTET registration number and date of birth as login credentials for further process.

Step 2: UPTET 2024 Fee Payment

After the UPTET Registration, candidates should pay the required application fees. Applicants can pay the UPTET application fees 2024 in online mode via debit or credit card. The UPTET registration fee for all the category candidates has been given in the below table.
