NTA mentions the normalization procedure used for calculating score of the CSIR NET in its official information brochure. The normalisation method to calculate score is to ensure equivalence on account of difficulty levels of the different shifts of the exam. What after the CSIR NET 2020 Result is Declared?

Once NTA declares the CSIR NET result 2020, candidates will be issued the eligibility certificates for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The certificate will be valid for a period of 2 years from the CSIR NET result date.

Documents Required to obtain Certificate of Eligibility

Only those candidates can apply for the eligibility certificate who qualify as per the CSIR NET result 2020. The appointment of candidate as a lecturer or awarding of fellowship will be considered after the document verification is done. Candidates must send self-attested photocopies of their documents along with their applications. They must mention “Documents for session name - 2020 NET exam'' on the envelope along with details of their roll numbers and the allotted exam slot for CSIR JRF/ JRF/LS. The documents to be sent are:

  • Class 10 certificate for date of birth proof

  • Final mark sheet with a minimum percentage of marks required

  • Degree/provisional degree of qualifying exam/M.Sc or equivalent degree

  • Copy of CSIR mark sheet

  • Caste certificate, if applicable

  • Candidates who have applied under result awaited (RA) category (M.Sc or equivalent) must submit the required documents only after they complete their qualifications.

The e-certificate will be issued by NTA to all the CSIR NET qualified candidates in online mode after the DV is done. The steps to download e-certificate is mentioned below:

CSIR NET Cut off 2020

NTA will release the cutoff of CSIR NET 2020 June session on July 20 (tentatively). The cutoff is minimum marks that candidates have to secure to be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (NET) or Lectureship (NET). Hi Mohita,

As per the eligibility criteria for CSIR UGC NET the candidate must have completed his or her graduation in in B.Pharma or BE or B. Tech or MSc or MBBS or Integrated BS-MS or any other science degree with at least 55% marks. Since you have a graduate degree in B.Pharma you are eligible to appear for the exam.

Hi aspirant,

Yes you can do. You can apply for CSIR NET exam with your post graduation eligibility. They don't look about the cross majors. It is one of the toughest exams in India and at the same time best exam which can give you a chance to get a lecturer job in colleges and Junior research fellow position in research institutes and colleges with a stipend of 31000 with HRA.
