CSIR UGC NET Result 2019 - National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce CSIR UGC NET 2019 result for December session in January 2020. The result of CSIR UGC NET 2019 will be announced in the form of PDF. CSIR UGC NET result 2019 PDF will contain the roll numbers and rank of qualified candidates. The Joint CSIR UGC NET 2019 result will contains the roll numbers of candidates qualified for both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (NET). Candidate’s appointment as lecturer or awarding of fellowship will be done only when the documents are verified in terms of meeting the eligibility conditions. Candidates while sending (attested/self-attested photocopies) documents must mention on the envelop ‘Documents for session name-2019 NET exam’ with their respective roll numbers and the allotted slot for CSIR JRF/UGC JRF/LS. On the completion of two years as JRF and if the fellow is registered for PhD, the fellowship will be upgraded to SRF (NET) and the stipend will be increased to Rs. 28,000 p/m for the 3rd and subsequent years.

Yes you can do. You can apply for CSIR NET exam with your post graduation eligibility. They don't look about the cross majors. It is one of the toughest exams in India and at the same time best exam which can give you a chance to get a lecturer job in colleges and Junior research fellow position in research institutes and colleges with a stipend of 31000 with HRA.
