IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2018 related to Nationality
Based on the citizenship of the candidate, the following are eligible to apply for IBPS PO 2018
A citizen of India
A subject of Nepal
A subject of Bhutan
A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement.
A person of Indian Origin (PIO) migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India. Given that categories 2, 3, 4 and 5 provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India in their favour to fulfill the IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2018.
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2018 related to Educational Qualification
The candidate must hold a graduation degree such as B.A., B.Tech., or any other Bachelors Degree from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification also recognised by the Government of India and the final result must have been declared on or before September 4, 2018 as per the eligibility criteria of IBPS PO 2018. The candidate must have a valid marksheet/degree certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day of registration and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering online.
The candidate must be computer literate as the mode of examination for IBPS PO 2018 is online. The candidate must also have proficiency, both verbal and written in the language of the state or the union territory to be eligible for IBPS PO 2018.
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2018 related to Age (as on August 1, 2018)
A general category candidate must be 20-30 years of age as per the eligibility criteria of IBPS PO 2018. The candidates must have been born between August 2, 1988, to August 1, 1998. There's a relaxation on the upper limit of age for special and reserved categories.

Important point about the eligibility of ex-servicemen
In case of an ex-serviceman who has once joined in a Government job on the civil side after availing the benefits given to him as an ex-serviceman for his re-employment, his ex-serviceman status for the purpose of re-employment (for this exam) in Government ceases.
IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2018 for candidates with Benchmark Disabilities
Candidates appearing for IBPS PO 2018 with benchmark disabilities are eligible to appear for the exam if they are one of the following
blind and candidates with low vision
deaf and hard of hearing candidates
candidates with locomotor disabilities including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy
intellectually disable victims like with autism, specific learning disabilities and mental illnesses.

Guidelines for Candidates with Benchmark Disabilities and those using a Scribe
Candidates using a scribe to appear for IBPS PO exam will have to follow some rules and regulations both while applying and writing the exam.

Candidates will have to arrange their own scribe at their own expense.
Both the candidate and the scribe are supposed to submit an undertaking stating that the scribe being used is eligible in all ways for being a scribe. The applicant will be disqualified if the knowledge is hidden or distorted that the scribe is not eligible in any way possible.
The scribe himself must not be a candidate.
Candidates using a scribe will be eligible for a compensatory 20 minutes time every hour.
The candidate must bring the scribe declaration issued by IBPS to the exam centre.
Guidelines for candidates with locomotor disabilities and cerebral palsy.
The compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour or otherwise advised will be allowed to candidates with cerebral palsy and locomotor disabilities when the effect is to an extent of slowing the performance of function.
Guidelines for candidates with visual impairment.
Visually impaired candidates with vision loss not less than 40% can request to view the contents of the examination in magnified fonts. Such candidates will be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes for every hour.
The facility of magnified content will not be available for blind candidates using a scribe.
