Candidates applying for IBPS PO 2019 must be a citizen of India
A subject of Nepal, Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Zambia Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that they must have a certificate of eligibility that has been issued by the Government of India.
