In ssc cgl exam there is same as upsc exam model paper like if we qualify for mains then we write preliminary exam.

Sanjay Khandelwal 3rd Feb, 2020
Sorry you are asking a wrong question. SSC is totally different with Upsc exam. And in ssc it is MCQ level in both tier 1 and 2. In UPSC civil services preliminary exam you have MCQ and written in mains. They are totally different some part of syllabus can be same. In ssc it will be in less deep than in upsc which asks in deep. For this preliminary is first and mains is second. In ssc tier 1 and main is tier 2.

Hello Aspirant,

This is enough time to be well prepared for the exam, Only you need to plan your exam schedule properly.

SSC CGL has mainly four section :

1. Reasoning

2.English Language

3.Quantitative Aptitude

4.General Awareness

Here are some preparation tips you can follow:

The Maths section consists of four major areas: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. Reasoning is the most scoring section of the exam. You must focus on Analogy and classification, non-verbal reasoning, syllogisms, coding-decoding, blood relations, direction test and series.

English Preparation for this section would include focusing on the following topics: one-word substitution, idioms and phrases, synonyms and antonyms, fill in the blanks (sentence completion), sentence errors, reading comprehension, sentence rearrangement and jumbled-up sentences. For cracking sentence error spotting questions, knowledge of grammatical rules you must know.

GK:  GK has the most comprehensive syllabus. And you also brush up current affairs. You must focus on questions based on Indian constitution, socio-religious movements of pre-independent India, national income & market structure, important scientific phenomena & modern Indian history.

Make your time schedule for your study section wise.

Make your short notes as per your convenience.

Go through with previous year papers to take an idea.

Join Mock test to analyze your performance.

Work on weak areas after completing each mock test.

Good Luck!
