The OTET application form 2025 is released on the official website. Candidates have to submit the OTET 2025 application form within the last date. They have to register themselves on the website before applying. While filling the OTET application form, candidates have to give correct information and upload the correct document. They also have to pay the OTET application fee within the last date.

OTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The OTET eligibility criteria are listed in detail in the official notification. The OTET eligibility criteria 2025 are the minimum requirements a candidate must have to clear the exam. It is mandatory for candidates to meet the OTET 2025 eligibility criteria. The following are the OTET eligibility criteria -

Educational Qualification -

• Category A - Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (or) At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed. (or) Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education. ( or) Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

• Category B - Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (or), At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed. (or) Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Proceduré) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (or) Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

OTET 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates can check the OTET 2025 exam pattern comprising a written objective test related to the subject which the candidate has selected. The OTET Paper 1 exam consists of 150 questions which is 1 mark each and should be written for 2 ½ hours.

The OTET exam does not have negative marking or a penalty for missing out on questions. The mode of the written OTET exam is offline. The OTET Paper 2 exam is conducted for 2 ½ hours, consisting of 90 questions for 90 marks.

OTET 2025 Syllabus

The OTET Syllabus 2025 varies according to the subject the candidate selects. But there are certain topics which are common for all the categories in the OTET syllabus. OTET Answer Key 2025

Candidates can check the OTET answer key 2025 a few days after the exam is concluded. The board releases the provisional OTET 2025 answer key first. Candidates will have an option to raise objections against the OTET answer key. Based on the objections raised, the OTET final answer key is released.

Candidates can access the OTET result link 2025 many weeks after the exam is conducted. The OTET result is released by the board on their website.The OTET 2025 result can be downloaded using their login credentials. Candidates can view their name, roll number, marks obtained and the qualifying marks in the OTET result.

OTET 2025 Cut Off

The OTET 2025 cut off are the minimum marks which the candidate needs to pass the exam. The OTET cut off depends on the category of the candidate. The OTET cut off 2025 for the general category is 60% and 50% for the SC, ST, PH, OBC/ SEBC category. It is mandatory for the candidate to get the required OTET marks to pass the exam.
