OTET Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2021: Board of Secondary Education, Odisha released the OTET 2021 exam pattern and syllabus along with the OTET notification 2021 at the official website. The OTET eligibility test, as per the OTET exam pattern and syllabus 2021 consists of a single stage online test with two papers – Paper I and Paper II.
The OTET exam pattern and syllabus 2021 gives candidate get an overall idea about the scheme and mode of OTET exam, structure of question paper and weightage of topics and other details. The preparation of aspirants without knowing the OTET 2021 exam pattern and syllabus is not that effective. To ace OTET, aspirants are encouraged to follow the exam pattern and syllabus of OTET 2021. OTET Exam Pattern 2021

As per the exam pattern of OTET 2021, all questions are set in multiple choice questions (MCQs) with four alternatives for each answer. One mark is rewarded for each correct answer in OTET 2021 and there is no negative marking for the wrong answers. There are two papers in OTET exam.

Paper I: Aspirants intending to be a teacher in class 1st to 5tg
Paper II: Aspirants intending to be a teacher in class 6th to 8th
OTET application 2021 can also be filled by candidates who intend to apply for both the levels. These candidates have to appear both paper I and paper II.

OTET Exam Pattern 2021 - Paper I

Paper I, as per the OTET 2021 exam pattern, is conducted to test the general ability of the candidates to assess their teaching/research skill. The paper has 150 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. In paper I of OTET, candidates are asked question from the following sections:

OTET Exam Pattern 2021 - Paper II

Paper II of OTET exam contains 150 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. Paper II is conducted for candidates willing to be a teacher for Class 6-8. Each question carries one mark each with no negative marks.
