OTET Notification 2021 - BSE Odisha has activated the answer key challenge window for OTET exam on May 24, 2021. BSE Odisha released the OTET 2021 answer key on its official website on May 20, 2021. The notification of OTET was released by Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on February 20, 2021 at its official website bseodisha.ac.in. The authorities had also released the OTET Odisha application form 2021 along with the OTET 2021 notification. The last date for submission of the OTET 2021 application form was March 8, 2021. Candidates must go through the OTET notification before they start to fill the OTET 2021 application form. The OTET notification 2021 contains all the details related to OTET Odisha eligibility criteria, application process, admit card, exam pattern, OTET syllabus, etc. As per the OTET Odisha notification, the OTET exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of the candidates as Teachers in classes 1 to 8. As per OTET exam pattern 2021, the test was held for two papers - papers 1 and 2, 150 marks each on April 9, 2021. Applicants who fill the OTET application form successfully are issued the OTET 2021 admit card. The Odisha Eligibility Test will be held at various OTET exam centres across Odisha. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks of 60% (general) will be considered qualified.

OTET Eligibility Criteria 2021

As per the notification of OTET 2021, applicants who meet the OTET eligibility on the basis of education are eligible to fill the OTET Odisha application form in online mode. The OTET Odisha eligibility criteria for appearing in both the papers - paper 1 and 2 are separately released in the notification PDF. Candidates will have to meet the eligibility of OTET 2021.

OTET Eligibility criteria for Paper I

  • Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT or D.El.Ed.)

or

  • Higher Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.

OTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper II

  • Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

or

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

OTET Application Form 2021

The authorities had released the OTET application form 2021 in online mode on February 20, 2021. Last date for submission of the form was March 8, 2021. Candidates willing to apply for OTET have to fill the OTET Odisha form. The filling of application form includes registration with name, password, mobile number and email ID. After OTET Odisha registration, candidates will have to enter the personnel details, education qualification, address, information sheet and declaration and payment of fee. According to OTET notification 2021, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 (general) and Rs 300 (SC/ST/PWD) in online mode. OTET Admit Card 2021

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha issued the admit card of OTET 2021 in online mode on April 1, 2021. All those candidates who had filled the application form of OTET Odisha successfully were issued the OTET admit card 2021. Applicants can download the admit card of OTET by using their login credentials. It is important for the candidates to carry the OTET admit card to the exam centre on the day of exam. Along with the admit card of OTET, candidates must also carry one of the prescribed photo ID proofs. No candidates will be allowed to take the exam without the OTET Odisha admit card and photo ID proof.

OTET Qualifying marks 2021

The OTET 2021 Odisha exam conducting authority determines the minimum qualifying marks in order to shortlist the applicants for the post of teachers to class 1st to 8th. As per the OTET qualifying marks, applicants belonging to the general category must score at least 60% i.e 90 marks out of 150, while reserved category aspirants must score at least 50% i.e 75 marks out of 150.
