GPSC result 2021: GPSC has declared the final result of GPSC Combined Competitive Examination 2019-20 exam on September 1, 2021. The final result is been declared after taking into consideration candidates performance into mains and personality test. The GPSC main exam was conducted on March 9, 12, 14, 2021 in offline mode, while the personality test concluded till August 21, 2021. Earlier, Gujarat Public Service Commission declared the prelims result of GPSC on May 31, 2021 in online mode. A total of 6,152 candidates qualified in the GPSC Civil service prelims exam and got promoted for the mains exam. GPSC Result 2021 - Stages of GPSC result

The exam conducting authority declares the result of the GPSC 2021 exam for every stage after the conclusion of the respective stage. Candidates qualifying in the GPSC prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the mains exam followed by the personality test/interview. After the GPSC interview the exam conducting authority will release the final GPSC result 2021. The final result will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by candidates in the mains exam as well as the Interview. The detailed information of the GPSC result 2021 are mentioned below:

GPSC Result 2021 - Prelims GPSC result

The exam conducting authority declared the GPSC result 2021 for the preliminary stage at its official website on May 31, 2021. The GPSC preliminary result PDF consists of the roll number of all qualified candidates. The qualified candidates will then be eligible to appear in the mains exam. The preliminary exam of GPSC comprises two papers – General Studies paper 1 and 2. Each GS paper is of 200 marks which have to be attempted in 2 hours time duration.

For each incorrect answer, attempted by candidates in the preliminary exam, ⅓ marks will be deducted as negative marking in both these papers. The GPSC cutoff marks for preliminary exam will be calculated on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the GS paper 1. The GS paper 2 is qualifying in nature.

GPSC Result 2021 - Mains GPSC result

GPSC mains exam is descriptive in nature hence there is no negative marking in it. There are a total of 8 papers in the mains exam. Based on the GPSC mains result 2021, candidates three times the total number of vacancies will be called for the interview/personality test.

GPSC Result 2021 - Final GPSC result

Aspirants final selection in the GPSC 2021 will be done on the basis of their performance in the mains exam and interview/personality test. Separate GPSC cut off marks are released for every stage. Candidate's allotment into the services will be done on the basis of the final GPSC result.
