RBI Assistant Exam Pattern 2019 - Reserve Bank of India has mentioned RBI Assistant 2019 exam pattern in its official notification. RBI Assistant exam pattern 2019 varies for each stage of the recruitment process. The exam pattern of RBI Assistant 2019 includes the number of questions asked, mode of examination, distribution of marks and the duration of the exam. According to RBI Assistant exam pattern 2019, the prelims exam will be conducted for 100 questions and each question is of 1 mark. The time duration for RBI Assistant prelims exam will be one hour. The mains exam pattern of RBI Assistant 2019 comprises of 200 questions which need to be solved in 135 minutes. Candidates who qualify the mains stage will have to appear for the last stage in RBI Assistant 2019 exam pattern - Language Proficiency Test (LPT) which will be conducted in the official/local language of the respective state.

RBI Assistant Exam Pattern 2019 for Mains Exam

The mains exam of RBI Assistant is divided into five sections - English Language, General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Computer Knowledge. According to the exam pattern of RBI Assistant 2019, candidates will have to qualify in each section in order to qualify in the mains exam. RBI Assistant Marking Scheme 2019

Candidates after knowing the exam pattern should also know the marking scheme of the exam which will help them to qualify the exam with good marks. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

RBI Assistant Exam Pattern 2019 for Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Only those candidates who qualify the preliminary and mains exam will be eligible to appear for the Language Proficiency Test. It is to be noted that LPT will be conducted in the Official/Local language of the respective state. Candidates who fail to qualify the LPT will be declared disqualified in the exam.

Greetings !!

We can expect the notification for RBI assistant by the end of December. As RBI Grade B exams are done, we can hope RBI will come up with assistant notification. I suggest you to start preparing well for the examination, so you can clear it in one go. Dedicate at least 5-6 hours daily for your preparation. Practice mocks as much as you can. Revise the concepts. You can definitely clear the exam. If any doubts, pls feel free to ask !

Minimum qualifications for RBI exam

Hi Mahendra,

For RBI Assistant Exam, you need to be between 20 to 28 years of age pls should be a graduate in any discipline with 50% marks. For reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD candidates), they just need to pass graduation in any discipline. Knowledge of word processing on PC is required too.

Candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.

On average total of 5.5lakh candidates appear for RBI Assistant examination however this will vary for all states as som emight have more and some might have fewer students.
