Syndicate Bank conducts Syndicate Bank PO for admission to the one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course in Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd. (MaGE) and Nitte Education International Pvt Ltd (NEIPL) Greater Noida. Syndicate Bank PO includes two stages - appearing in the online test conducted by IBPS followed by Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD). To appear in Syndicate Bank PO, candidates must be between 20 to 28 years of age and should have a graduation degree or equivalent. Candidates must hold an Indian citizenship or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962 for permanently settling in India or Indian origins who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam for permanently settling in India.

Syndicate bank PO Cutoff
The cutoff marks for Syndicate Bank PO will be released by the Bank for online and GD/PI process.
Candidates will be required to obtain a minimum score in each objective test and also overall cutoff marks in the objective test to be eligible for the GD/PI process.

Syndicate Bank PO 2019 Selection Process
Syndicate Bank will select candidates through a Syndicate Bank PO selection process consisting of a computer-based test (online) conducted by IBPS followed by a Personal Interview (PI)/ Group Discussion (GD).
The Syndicate Bank PO selection process aims at getting candidates who have good knowledge, communication skills in both oral and written, passionate about work and have a positive attitude.
Syndicate Bank PO Online Test: There will be objective as well as a descriptive test for 200 and 50 marks respectively. Candidates have to obtain score at least minimum qualifying cutoff marks in each objective and descriptive test to be eligible for the GD/PI.
The descriptive paper of only those candidates who secure minimum marks in the objective test will be assessed. Minimum marks for general is 50% and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD is 45% in the descriptive test to qualify for next of Syndicate Bank selection process.
Personal Interview / Group Discussion – Candidates who have qualified in objective test will be selected for the PI/GD on the basis of the merit list prepared by the authority in the order of ranks obtained in the Syndicate Bank PO. Candidates approximately 5 times the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted PI/GD. The cutoff marks will be decided by Syndicate Bank. The final merit list will be on the basis of the performance in the online test and PI/GD.
