Hello Neha,

According to the eligibility criteria of SSC MTS, the age of candidates should be 18 years to 25 years old (or 18 years to 27 years old for some posts) on the cut-off date of the official notification.

If you were born on 20/09/2007, you will turn 18 on 20/09/2025. You will be eligible only if the notification permits candidates who attain the age of 18 by or before that date. Please check the exact cut-off date in the currently published SSC MTS notification to ensure eligibility.

hi,

If your date of birth is 20 September 2007, you will turn 18 in September 2025. For the SSC MTS exam, the minimum age required is 18 years as of a specific cut-off date, which usually falls before the exam application closes, often around August. Since you will still be 17 at that time, you are not eligible to apply for the SSC MTS exam this year.

Hi Sumanth,

Unfortunately, the window to edit details of OTR was closed on 31st May, 2025. More importantly, your educational details can NOT be edited once you are OTR verified. But one thing you should be prepared of, is to be prepared with all required documents be it your diploma or degree certificate at the document verification stage.

You may also mail this issue to helpdesk-ssc@ssc.nic.in with your degree certificate to support your take. I suggest you to first mail this issue to SSC itself.

All the best!

Congratulations on your selection as MTS at the Deputy Director General of Civil Aviation (DDGCA), Western Region! It's understandable that you're eager to know about the next steps, especially regarding document verification.

As you haven't received an email yet, the best course of action is to directly contact the DDGCA, Western Region office to inquire about the status and schedule for document verification.

Based on available information, the Deputy Director General's office is located in Mumbai. You can try contacting them at the following:

Office of the DDGCA, Western Region: Integrated Office Complex, Opposite to Parshiwada, 14 B Sahar Road, Vile Parle East, Mumbai - 400057 Phone: 022-28393807

It's advisable to call them during their working hours to get the most accurate information. When you call, clearly state your name, the post you've been selected for (MTS), and that you haven't received any communication regarding document verification after the SSC MTS 2024 selection. They should be able to provide you with the necessary details or guide you on the next steps.

While an email address specifically for the Western Region wasn't readily available, you can also try to look for a general contact email on the main DGCA website (dgca.gov.in) and address your query to them, mentioning that you are a selected candidate for the Western Region.

Keep checking the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in) and the SSC Western Region website (sscwr.net) for any updates or notifications regarding document verification for the SSC MTS 2024 recruitment. Sometimes, they might upload schedules or important notices on their websites.

It's important to be proactive in this situation. Contacting the DDGCA, Western Region directly is the most efficient way to get the information you need regarding your document verification.

I hope it helps.
