SSC MTS Exam pattern 2019 - Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has prescribed the exam pattern of SSC MTS 2019 in its notification. As per SSC MTS 2019 exam pattern, there are two papers in the exam - Tier-I and Tier-II. SSC MTS Tier-I is an objective type computer based examination while Tier-II is descriptive in nature. SSC MTS exam pattern 2019 is the examination scheme that the Commission will follow while conducting the exam. Tier-I of SSC MTS 2019 consists of four sections. Tier-I of SSC MTS is a computer based examination with objective type questions. As mentioned in the exam pattern of SSC MTS 2019, there are four sections in this paper - General English, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness. Candidates are given 1 hour 30 minutes to attempt Tier-I. Each section consists of 25 questions and 25 marks. Total marks allotted for Tier-I are 100. Tier-II of SSC MTS is a descriptive test in which candidates are required to take one essay and one letter writing question. Candidates can opt to take this paper in English or any language included in the eighth schedule of the Indian Constitution. Candidates will be given 30 minutes to attempt both questions. Total marks allotted for this section are 50. There is no negative marking in this section. The syllabus of SSC MTS 2019 is prescribed for the four sections of Tier-I. Questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning will be non-verbal type.
