Puducherry Police Constable Exam 2025 - Application Form (released), Eligibility, Admit Card, Result

The Puducherry Police Constable 2025 eligibility criteria of has been announced by the examination authority in the notification. Candidates who are born in Puducherry or are residing in the UT for the past five years prior the date of notification were only eligible for the post. According to Puducherry Police Constable eligibility criteria, the age prescribed for the recruitment exam was 18 to 22 years. Candidates should have passed Class 10+2 or equivalent. The height prescribed for men is 165 cms while it was 154 cms for women candidates.

The Puducherry Police Constable application form 2025 is available from August 13 to September 12, 2025. Puducherry Police Constable application form is available in online mode. To fill the application form, candidates have to first register for the exam by submitting basic details. After successful registration, the application number of candidates is generated. Candidates have to login with the application number to fill other details in Puducherry Police Constable application form. In the application form, candidates were required to fill their educational details, upload photograph and signature and pay the examination fees.

The exam pattern of Puducherry Police Constable is prescribed by the exam conducting body. Puducherry Police Constable exam pattern 2025 provides details regarding the overall structure of Physical test and written test like activities, marking scheme, subjects, time duration and section-wise weightage of topics etc. Puducherry Police Constable exam pattern for different stages are given below.

Physical Test – In this Physical Measurement test, candidates will be first screened for height, weight etc. Candidates who will fulfill the requirements will be eligible to appear for Physical Efficiency Test. The Physical Efficiency Test comprises of the following tests.

Written Exam – The written exam will comprise objective type questions of 10+2 standard. The question paper will be divided into two parts and each will be of two hours duration. The written test will be in English and Regional Languages for candidates from Puducherry and Karaikal in Tamil. The language of question paper will be in Malyalam for Mahe and in Telugu for Yanam candidates, respectively. The questions for General English will be in English Language only. 

Medical Examination – In this stage, candidates medical fitness will be accessed.

The admit card of Puducherry Police Constable is released separately for Physical Test, Written Test, Medical Examination. All registered candidates will be first issued Puducherry Police Constable 2025 admit card for appearing in Physical Test. Candidates qualifying the Physical Test will be issued Puducherry Police Constable admit card for the written exam. 

The admit card for Medical Examination will be issued to candidates qualifying the written examination. Puducherry Police Constable admit card will be released online for all stages. Candidates will have to login with the required credentials to download the admit card. The admit card will mention details like candidate’s name, roll number, date, time, exam centre and important instructions for the exam day.  

The result of Puducherry Police Constable will be declared separately for three stages - Physical test, written test and final. Puducherry Police Constable result will be available online. Candidates will have to either login with their credentials or it will be available in PDF format.
