TN TRB Assistant Professor 2025 Eligibility Criteria

TRB has prescribed the eligibility criteria for the post of Assistant Professors / Assistant Professors. Candidates have to fulfil the TN TRB Assistant Professor 2025 Eligibility Criteria such as age and educational qualifications as mentioned below:

Age Limit: Candidates should not have completed 40 years as on 01-07-2025. 

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a master's degree in Law in the preferred subject for which they have applied

• Applicants must pass from any recognised University with not less than 55 percent marks and a good academic record. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates must possess not less than 50 percent marks in the relevant subjects

• Must have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or an accredited test.

• However, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, as amended 2016 (3rdAmendment) shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET or an accredited Test.

• It is mandatory for candidates to get enrolled as an advocate in the Bar Council. However, preference shall be given to persons who have actual experience at the Bar or teaching experience.

The application form of TN TRB recruitment for Assistant Professor 2025 has released on January 31, 2025 on the official website. Candidates can submit the TN TRP 2025 application form until March 3, 2025. The applicants who want to apply for TN TRB Assistant Professor for 2 posts have to submit separate application form for each post.

TN TRB Assistant Professor 2025 Registration: Candidates have to visit TN TRB official website to apply for their preferred post. In the registration, part candidates had to fill all basic details. 

Filling up of basic details: All the particulars mentioned in the online application including the name of the candidate, post applied, communal category, date of birth, address and all other fields were not editable after final submission.

Uploading of Photograph and Signature: Candidates have to upload their scanned copy of photo and signature to their application form.

Application Fees for TN TRB Assistant Professor 2025 exam: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.600 (Rs.300 for SC/SCA/ST and Differently Abled candidates) + Bank charges in online mode only.
