SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2019 – According to the eligibility criteria of SSC MTS, candidates who have passed Class 10/SSC and are in the age group of 18 to 25 years can apply for the exam. SSC MTS eligibility criteria 2019 has been prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission. SSC MTS 2019 eligibility criteria highlight the norms in terms of age, academic qualification and nationality that have to be fulfilled by candidates in order to be eligible for the exam. The eligibility of candidates will be verified at the time of document verification. In case, candidate’s eligibility does not match the one entered in the application form then their candidature will be cancelled. The detailed SSC MTS eligibility criteria 2019 is provided here. SSC MTS exam is conducted for recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff in various Central Government Ministries / Departments/Offices in different States/Union Territories. SSC MTS application form 2019 will be released on April 22, 2019. Read below for more details on SSC MTS eligibility criteria 2019.

 SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidates have to fulfil the following SSC MTS 2019 eligibility criteria to be eligible for the exam.

 SSC MTS 2019 Nationality

A candidate must be either

(a) a citizen of India or

(b) a subject of Nepal or

(c) a subject of Bhutan or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that candidates belonging to (b), (c), (d) and (e) categories mentioned above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Note: Candidates in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be allowed to appear for the exam but the offer of appointment will be provided only after the certificate has been issued by the government.

 SSC MTS 2019 Age Limit

The age limit prescribed for SSC MTS is 18 to 25 years. The date of birth to be entered by candidates in the application form should be same as recorded in Class 10/Matriculation/Secondary examination certificate. Candidates can check below the relaxation in upper age limit as per category.

SSC MTS 2019 Educational Qualification

Must have passed matriculation/class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates whose result is awaited or are appearing in the exam can also apply.
