NIACL Assistant 2024 Exam - Dates, Registration, Admit Card, Syllabus, Result

The exam conducting authority has determined the NIACL Assistant eligibility criteria 2025 on the basis of nationality, age and educational qualification of the candidates. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of NIACL Assistant 2025 in order to fill the online application form.

Eligibility Criteria of NIACL Assistant 2025 – Nationality

• Candidates must be a citizen of India.

• or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.

• or a Tibetan migrant who moved to India before January 1, 1962 to settle down permanently.

• Candidates of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Ethiopia, a, East African countries of Kenya, Zambia and Malawi in order to permanently settle in India.

Eligibility Criteria of NIACL Assistant 2025 – Age as on January 1, 2025

Lower age limit: 21 years 

Upper age limit: 30 years

However, the exam conducting authority has provided certain relaxations on the upper age limit as per the category of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria of NIACL Assistant 2025– Educational Qualification as on January 1, 2025

• Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline.

• Must have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/HSC/Intermediate/Graduation. 

• Candidates must be proficient in the regional language of the State/UT for which the candidates is applying (must know how to read and write).

NIACL Assistant application is released by the exam conducting authority in online mode on December 17, 2024. Eligible candidates can fill the application form till January 1, 2025 in order to appear for NIACL Assistant 2025 exam. Candidates must keep certain particulars – scanned photograph and signature, active email ID and mobile number etc ready with them before they start filling the application form of NAICL Assistant 2025. Along with filling of application form, candidates must also pay the prescribed application fee without which the form will not be accepted by the exam conducting authority. The application fee of NAICL Assistant 2025 must be paid in online mode. The table below contains the amount that must be paid by the candidates on the basis of their category.

The payment of application fee must be done using payment gateways like Debit Cards (Rupay/Visa/Master/Maestro), Credit cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card, Mobile Wallets.

Guidelines to upload scanned photograph and signature

Photograph

The photograph of the candidates must be of the following properties:

• The photograph of the candidates must be a recent picture of 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm.

•  Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels. File size: 20 kb to 50 kb

Signature

The signature of the candidates must be of the following specifications.

• The signature must be done in black pen on white paper.

• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels.

• File size: 20 kb to 50 kb

Candidates must go through the exam pattern of NIACL Assistant 2025 to know the sections from where the questions can come in exam. Apart from the sections, NIACL Assistant exam pattern 2025 contains the number of questions asked, duration and marks allotment.

As per the exam pattern of NIACL Assistant 2025, the exam will be conducted in three phases – prelims, mains and regional language test. Candidates who qualify the prelims exam will appear for the mains exam. Candidates shortlisted in the mains exam will have to take a regional language test after which the final recruitment will be done.

NIACL Assistant Exam Pattern 2025 – Preliminary Exam

• Except for the English Language section, the other two section will be conducted in both English and Hindi.

• One fourth marks will be deducted in case of incorrect answers given by the candidates.

• No marks will be deducted if the question is left unanswered.

All those candidates who score the sectional and state wise cut off will be eligible to qualify in the the mains exam of NIACL Assistant 2025.

All those candidates who qualify in the NIACL Assistant prelims exam must go through the
exam pattern for the mains exam. By going through the exam pattern of NIACL Assistant mains
exam, candidates can understand marks distribution, time allotment, total questions, and
sections from where the questions are asked.

• Objective type questions will be asked

• The exam will be conducted in both English in Hindi except for the the English Language section which will be conducted in English only.

• One fourth marks will be deducted for every wrong response given by the candidates.

• If the questions are left unanswered, no marks will be deducted.

NIACL Assistant Exam Pattern 2025 – Regional Language  Test

All those candidates who will qualify the mains exam of NIACL Assistant will have to take regional language test. The regional language test will be conducted at selected centres across the country. Candidates must know to write and speak the regional language of the State/UT for which the candidates will appear. The regional language test will be of qualifying nature and no marks will be allotted for this test. 

The admit card of NIACL Assistant 2025 will be issued in online mode. The intimation to download the call letter of NIACL Assistant 2025 will be sent to the candidates through email and SMS. In order to download NIACL Assistant admit card, candidates must use their registration number and password. The admit card of NIACL Assistant will contain the name of the candidates, date of birth, date and time of the examination and venue of the exam. Candidates must check the details mentioned on the admit card of the NIACL Assistant. A print out of the admit card must be taken to the exam centre on the day of exam. Along with the NIACL Assistant admit card 2025, candidates must also carry one of the photo ID proofs – aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driving license, and voters ID proof.

The mains admit card of NIACL Assistant 2025 will be issued to only those candidates who will qualify the preliminary exam. NIACL Assistant mains admit card 2025 will be issued in online mode. Candidates can download the mains admit card of NIACL Assistant by using their registration number and password. A print out of the mains admit card must be taken by the candidates to the exam centre on the day of exam. Along with the NIACL Assistant admit card 2025, candidates must also carry one of the photo ID proofs – aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driving license, and voters ID proof.

NIACL Assistant admit card for regional language  Test will be issued to only those candidates who will qualify the mains exam. Candidates will be informed about the issue of admit card through email and SMS. Candidates must carry a print out of the regional language  call letter along with the print out of the application form.

The result of NAICL Assistant 2025 for prelims exam will be declared in online mode. In order to check the result of NIACL Assistant 2025, candidates must use their registration number and password. By going through the result of NIACL Assistant 2025, candidates will come to know that who all have qualified the prelims exam. Candidates who pass in the prelims exam of NAICL Assistant 2025, will be eligible to appear for the mains exam.

The result of NAICL Assistant mains exam was released on April 15, 2025 by the exam conducting authority in order to shortlist the candidates for regional language test. Although the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the mains exam only. Candidates can check NAICL Assistant mains exam result 2025 by using their registration number and password. The result of NAICL Assistant 2025 for mains exam will contain the marks obtained by the candidates and their qualifying status.

The final merit list of NAICL Assistant 2025 will be declared by the exam conducting authority after the regional language  test is conducted. NAICL Assistant final result 2025 will released on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the mains exam. However, all those candidates who fails to qualify in the regional language  test (LPT) will be disqualified from the selection process since LPT is of qualifying nature. Candidate must be high in the merit list to be shortlisted for the subsequent recruitment process.
