HSSC notification 2019 for the recruitment of SI and Constable has been released on June 9. According to the official notification of HSSC 2019, the examination the knowledge test would be conducted in either computer based mode (CBT) or in offline mode from July 13 to August 18. The authority will release the HSSC Group C application form from June 12 onward. Aspiring candidates, who have completed their graduation and 12th, can apply for HSSC 2019 till June 26 (11.59 pm). The HSSC registration process will be available in online mode. However, candidates can pay the application fee for the exam till June 28, 2019.

For the benefit of the candidates (as some may be wondering what is Group C) to understand it in a simple manner, Careers360 here explains that HSSC Group C exam is the level and standard of the test which is held for recruiting Sub-Inspectors and Constables. In other words, Group C can also be termed HSSC SI and Constable exam. It must be noted that the answer key of HSSC is released only for the knowledge test which will be an objective type, multiple choice paper.
There are two stages of the answer key of HSSC Group C. The first stage is wherein the authority releases the initial or provisional answer key of HSSC. The second stage is where the final answer key of HSSC Group C is released after considering the challenges and objections.
The HSSC 2019 answer key will be released for two posts separately, as per the different codes of the paper. The categories for which the key will be released are HSSC answer key SI and HSSC answer key constable.
After the exam gets over, HSSC provisional answer key will be released through which candidates can get to know their estimated score in the exam. However, the exam conducting body would also provide the facility of challenging the provisional answer key of HSSC Group C, so that in case there are discrepancies in the question or the answer keys, the authority can rectify them or the test takers can challenge them.

The authority will review the objections submitted by the candidates and will release a revised or corrected answer key for HSSC 2019. However, the provisional answer key will only be revised only if the objections by the candidates are found to be genuine and correct.
The revised key is also called HSSC final answer key. Note that only the provisional answer key of HSSC can be challenged, however, once the authority releases the final answer key, it can not be challenged at any cost. Also, the decision made by HSSC while releasing the HSSC Group C final answer key will be binding and can not be challenged further. Candidates can finally calculate their scores with that of the final answer key and know how much will they score.

The HSSC will declare the result of HSSC Group C in different stages – for knowledge test, physical screening test, physical measurement test and final selection. Candidates also need to get their documents verified, post their final result will be declared. HSSC result for the knowledge test is expected to be out in September 2019, however, the result of physical screening test and physical measurement test will be declared later. The result of HSSC Group C 2019 will be declared in the form of PDF file containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. The authority will shortlist candidates, 7 times the number of vacancies in each group for appearing in the physical measurement test.
