West Bengal Police Result 2020 - The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) declares the West Bengal Police result in online mode @wbpolice.gov.in. The result is declared for Constable and other posts as per the vacancies released by the exam conducting authority. To check West Bengal Police 2020 results, candidates have to log in using their credentials like application serial number, date of birth and district. Based on the West Bengal Police result in 2020 of the written test, candidates will be selected for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The preliminary exam is the first stage of the West Bengal Police recruitment exam. The preliminary exam of West Bengal Police is conducted for 100 marks. Questions in the preliminary exam are based on General Awareness and General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics and Reasoning. West Bengal Police Recruitment Board decides qualifying marks for the preliminary examination. Marks obtained by candidates in the preliminary stage will not be considered for preparing the final merit list.

The preliminary stage consists of 100 questions
Maximum marks allotted for the preliminary exam is 100
Each question carries 1 marks
1⁄4th of the allotted marks for a particular question will be deducted for each wrong answer

After the written exam the second stage is the PET and PMT. This stage is conducted for candidates who have qualified the preliminary stage. Candidates who qualify PMT will be called to appear for PET. Both the exams are qualifying in nature.
All candidates who qualify in PMT and PET will be selected for the final written exam. West Bengal Police result for the final written exam will be calculated out of 85 marks after deducting penalty for wrong answers.
The final written examination will consist of 85 multiple choice questions.
Total marks of the exam are 85.
Each question carries 1 mark
There are negative marks for each wrong answer. 1⁄4th marks will be deducted for wrong answers.

On the basis of the candidate's performance in the final written exam they will be called for an Interview. The interview carries 15 marks. Candidates will be provisionally selected for the recruitment exam based on marks obtained in final written exam and interview.
