Indian Navy Application Form 2019 - Indian Navy has released the notification of Indian Navy 2019 for the recruitment of Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) & Artificial Apprentice (AA) for 2020 batch on June 14. The authority has announced a total of 2700 vacancies, out of which 2200 are for Indian Navy SSR posts and 500 for AA posts. Along with Indian Navy notification 2019, the authority has also released application dates. Candidates can fill the Indian Navy application form 2019 from June 28 to July 10, 2019. Candidates born between February 1, 2000 to January 31, 2003 are eligible to apply for these posts. Earlier, Indian Navy had released the application form of Indian Navy on May 6 for the recruitment of sailors (musician). Indian Navy 2019 application form for sailors was released online and could be filed till May 19, 2019. Besides filling the application form of Indian Navy 2019 for sailors, candidates also had to pay the fee. With the release of the Indian Navy 2019 application form, the examination authority has also released the official notification for the sailor musicians recruitment. According to the eligibility criteria of Indian Navy recruitment, candidates applying for sailor’s posts should be born between October 1, 1994 to September 30, 2002 (both dates inclusive). Aspirants must note that no age relaxation is permissible for this vacancy. The application form of Indian Navy can be uploaded from Common Service Centres (CSC) across the country, against a fixed fees of Rs 60 + GST.

The procedure is as follows:-
Before filling online Application form candidates must keep music certificate, matric pass certificate & 10th mark sheet ready for reference.
First candidate should register themselves on the official website of Indian Navy using your email id.
Applicants must ensure that while filling their application form, they are providing their valid and active email IDs and mobile numbers as the Navy may use electronic mode of communication while contacting them at any stage.
Log in on the official website with the registered Email ID and click on “Current Opportunities”.
Click on “Apply” button.
Fill up the form completely.
After filling the form candidates should submit the application form fee.
Before clicking the “Submit” button make sure all the details are correct and all required documents are scanned in original and uploaded.
For Sailors Entry (Other than musician profile), Indian Navy application form is made available in December/January and June/July every year. Selection of Officers in Indian Navy is done through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) entries, Direct Entry Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission and University Entry Scheme (UES).
Indian Navy application form 2019 for UPSC entries (NDA) is released in December/January and June/July while that for CDS and NCC is made available in November and July. Indian Navy application form for Direct Entry Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission (DEPC/DESSC) is released twice a year between February to May and August to November. Advertisements for recruitment of Sailor Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), Matric Recruit (MR), Musician (MUS), Sports Entry and Artificer Apprentices (AA) are published in December/January and June/July every year. Indian Navy application form 2019 is released along with the notification. Candidates applying for more than one type of entry are required to submit separate applications. Applicants filling more than one type of entry are required to submit separate applications. However, only one application form is to be filled by candidates for a particular entry. Candidates are selected through National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA/NA), Combined Defence Services Exam (CDSE) and NCC. For these entries, candidates will have to apply online only. The application form of UPSC comprises two parts – Registration and Filling the detailed application form. The application fees for general and OBC category is Rs 100 while SC/ST, sons of JCOs, NCOs, ORs candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Indian Navy Application Form 2019 for Direct Entry Permanent Commission /Short Service Commission
The application form for this entry is released in February to May and August to November. The applications submitted by candidates are reviewed and they are shortlisted for SSB based on the cutoff (educational qualification / current year JEE Mains rank / written examination result) decided by IHQ MoD (Navy)/ DMPR.)
Indian Navy Application Form 2019 for University Entry Scheme (UES)
The application form for this entry is released once in a year either in June or July. The branches that are offered to candidates includes Technical (Engineering, Electrical and Naval Architecture), Executive (Pilot,Observer,Logistics, General Service and Information Technology), Aviation Technical (E/L) and Submarine (E/L).

Fill the online application form.
Before clicking the Submit button check all the details carefully because candidates will not be able to make corrections in the application form.
After submitting the form, Roll Number will be generated.
Candidates are required to print two copies of Indian Navy application form with the system generated roll number.
One copy of Indian Navy application form has to be duly signed and sent by post along with the relevant documents.
Application form has to be filled in capital letters.
Candidates will have to affix one recent Passport size photograph at the top right corner.
Candidates will have to attach self-attested copies of certificates of Matric /equivalent certificate for verification of date of birth, Matriculation Marksheet, Domicile certificate etc.
Two self-addressed envelopes of size 22 x 10 cms with Rs 10/- stamp affixed on one envelope and another one without stamp is to be submitted along with the application form.
On top of the envelope containing the application form, candidates will have to type the entry, name of state, percentage in exam and name of exam passed is to be clearly written.
Selection of Officers for Permanent Commission through NDA/NA, CDS is done through written examination conducted by UPSC followed by an interview by Service Selection Board (SSB). For all other Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission entries there is no written examination.
