HSSC Result 2018 – The result of HSSC for the written exam of GD Constable and Sub-Inspector posts has been announced by Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). HSSC result 2018 is declared in different phases - Written exam, Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and final. The Commission has released HSSC 2018 result for the written exam for SI post on January 31 while the result for GD Constable post has been announced on February 2. The result of only those candidates has been declared who secures minimum qualifying marks as per their category. Candidate’s score for written exam will be calculated out of 80 marks. Candidates seven times the number of vacancies in each category have been selected for PST and PMT. Approximately, 49770 candidates have been shortlisted for the next round of selection process.

HSSC result 2018 for Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be declared after the conduct of exam. Candidates qualifying PST and PMT will be called for document verification. Final HSSC 2018 result will be declared based on candidate’s performance in written exam, PST and PMT and Document Verification. HSSC result 2018 for all stages will be declared online. HSSC 2018 Result Written Exam/Knowledge Test 

The written exam is conducted for 80 marks. The test comprises General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, other relevant fields/trades etc. The commission will fix HSSC cutoff as per category to select candidates for next round. Candidates have to qualify in all sections of exam. Qualified candidates of written exam will appear for PMT and PST. Around 49770 candidates have been selected for PMT and PST.

Calculation of written exam score

  • Each question in the exam will be of 0.80 marks

  • For correct answer candidates will score 0.8 marks

  • There are no negative marks for wrong answer

Total score = Number of correct answer X 0.80


HSSC Result 2018 for PMT and PST

Candidates who have qualified in Knowledge Test will be put to PST. This is qualifying in nature. Only those who the meet standards of PST will be allowed to participate in PMT. Candidates who qualify PMT will be called for Document verification. The examination authority will decide HSSC cutoff for PMT and PST.


HSSC Final Result 2018

The final result will be declared after document verification. Merit list will be prepared based on the performance in written exam and PST and PMT. Candidates whose roll numbers feature in the merit list will be given appointment.


HSSC Cutoff 2018

The cutoff of HSSC is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates have to score to qualify the exam and become eligible for next round of selection process. HSSC cutoff will be applied for written exam as well as PST and PMT. The cutoff will vary as per category and posts. The previous years’ HSSC cutoff is given below.
