Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) today, July 7, 2024. Candidates who are appearing in the CTET exam check the CTET exam center rules 2024 here. The CTET exam is being conducted in offline mode (pen & paper) to determine the eligibility of candidates for primary and upper primary level teachers. CTET 2024 Exam Day Instructions
The authorities mention the CTET instructions on the admit card of CTET. The CTET exam day guidelines have been given below:
Candidates are advised to reach their CTET 2024 exam centre at least 1 hour before the entry gate opens so as to cope with any unwanted delays. Moreover, candidates must make their transportation arrangements and plan beforehand given that transportation services have been affected due to the pandemic.
Candidates will have to carry their CTET admit card with them to get entry into the examination centre. It must be noted that no candidate will be allowed to enter the CTET exam centre without producing their admit card and valid photo identity proof.
Candidates appearing for the exam must wear face masks and gloves to get inside the exam hall. This is a mandatory requirement that every student needs to follow given the pandemic situation in the country.
CBSE will first conduct complete sanitisation of the examination centre which will include all infrastructure. Additionally, hand sanitisers will be placed at different parts of the exam centres.
Along with the sanitisation, the staff present at the exam centre will first check the temperature of candidates using thermal guns before allowing entry inside the exam hall.
Candidates must mandatorily follow the social distancing norms while entering the exam hall. Students must maintain a distance of 6 ft while entering and exiting the exam.
CTET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
There are certain guidelines such as CTET exam dress code and more that need to be followed by the candidate at the CTET exam centre. Check below for complete details:
The nose and mouth must be covered with a face mask all the time.
Social distancing needs to be followed at the exam center of CTET.
Do not exchange any stuff in the examination hall.
It is necessary to use safe transportation while coming and returning from the exam centre.
Try to avoid being in touch with strangers.
Candidates are advised to throw used face masks and tissue in the closed dustbin.
Maintain toilet hygiene, during and after the use.
Don’t touch your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Don’t hug or shake hands with anyone.
Don't spit near the exam centre premises.
Make sure you are not infected or having any symptoms of coronavirus.
Seek advice from parents about COVID-19 before and after the exam.

If you have paid twice for your CTET application form 2024, here's how to seek a refund on one of those payments:
Official CTET Website: You check the official website of CTET for such instructions if any for duplicate payments.
CTET Helpdesk: You would be required to email or call on the helpline number of the CTET. Here's what you need to provide in that email/call- application number, both the transaction details, and a screenshot or photocopy of the payment receipt.
Bank Support: Obtain the contact numbers of both the banks holding the accounts. Mail them with transaction details and ask them to walk you through the refund procedure.
Track the refund status with the CTET board and the banks too. If the board does not do anything, it might be an auto-reversal in your bank account. Keep following both the organizations regularly.
Maintain all the correspondence and payment slips for creating a record of refund.

If your college name is not listed in the CTET 2024 form but is shown on the Examination Regulatory Authority site and not on the NCTE site, you can choose the "OTHERS" option in the form.
