IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2018 – The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has prescribed the eligibility criteria of IBPS RRB. According to IBPS RRB 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates should be between 18 to 40 years as per the posts they apply. Relaxation in age will be provided to candidates belonging SC, ST, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and other categories. Applicants must be a graduate in any discipline as the posts. Candidates must have proficiency in local language of state or Union Territories in the respective Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) they are applying to. IBPS RRB eligibility criteria 2018 varies as per posts – Officers Scale I, II, III and IV. Applicants must check the eligibility criteria before they apply for IBPS RRB.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates must fulfill the following IBPS RRB eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, age and academic qualification to be eligible for the exam.

Candidates must be either
(I) A citizen of India or
(II) Subject of Nepal or
(III) Subject of Bhutan or
(IV) A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962 with intension of settling in India or
(V) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of settling in India, provided they belong to categories (II), (III), (IV) & (v) given above and shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years born earlier than June 2, 1990 and later than June 1, 2000 (both dates inclusive)

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% in aggregate.
Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy

How to indicate percentage of graduation in application form?
Percentage of graduation obtained in graduation can be calculated to the nearest two decimals in online application. In case of CGPA/OGPA, this should be converted into percentage and indicated in IBPS RRB application form 2018.
How to calculate percentage?
Percentage will be arrived by dividing the total marks obtained in all the subjects in all semesters by aggregate maximum marks multiplying by 100.
Proficiency in Local Language
Proficiency in local language is must for recruitment of Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts as per IBPS RRB eligibility criteria 2018. The details are given below:
Applicants who have studied regional language in Class 8 or above will be considered proficient in that local language.
If candidates does not meet the requirement in local language at the time of selection, he/she will be given six months time from the date of joining to acquire proficiency. This period can be extended by RRBs.
IBPS RRB is conducted for recruitment to 10,190 vacancies of Officers Scale I, II, III and IV. The notification has been released on June 8, 2018. Candidates have to fill IBPS RRB application form 2018 online. This year, applicants have to upload photograph, signature and left thumb impression and hand written declaration. The recruitment exam comprises three stages – Preliminary, Mains/Single exam and Interview. Candidates for the post of Officers Scale I,II and III is selected based on Preliminary, Mains/Single exam and Interview. Selection to Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) posts is done on the basis of mains exam.
